Morning all, im having a green day today. Its wi in tomorrow id meant to have a red day today so i didnt feel bloated tomorrow but I got confused with days etc. I had a red day yesterday but feel I can only have one red day at a time as I really miss my jacket chips at night that stop me from munching on chocolate etc. Ill aim for that 2 litres of liquid today. I had put on 3 lbs in 2 weeks so im hoping to have lost most of that or at least 1.5 lb

brekkie - loads of fresh pineapple with 0% greek yoghurt, cup of tea using milk from hea

mid morning - 2x nimble toasted with poached eggs(heb, free)

lunch - mug shot and cheese sandwich (heb+hea)

dinner - quorn chilli with rice. Was planning on bolognaise but just remembered Ive got nice fresh chillies and a tin of mixed Mexican beans. (free)

snacks will be fruit and yoghurts, lots of water and use my milk in my tea and coffee

    no syns today again.

am going to try and some excercise today, going to walk to the nursery and back and get the wii fit out, am also off shopping this afternoon with my mum so we always walk for miles.

  • Il do it quickly, was in the mag with sage too but i dont really like that.
Take mushrooms, chestnut mushrooms & some oyster mushrooms, more normal ones than the others, chop & fry off in fry light with onion (if you want) and a bit of garlic, put all of this at the bottom of an oven proof dish.
Whish together 3 eggs with salt, pepper, sage...if you're using it, i used mixed italian herbs which is yummy, poor over the mushroom mix in the dish.
Grate big potatoes (raw) about 3 should do it. Grate them & wring them out to remove as much water as poss & put on top of the mushroom/eggs, cover the whole of the mix, salt & pepper & spray with fry light, oven at 200 ish for 25 ish mins, till golden & crispy, YUM YUM.
sorry for the rush reply, really is worth making but iv gotta dash off to work now!

talking of the chips - don't know if anyone else has tried this but someone at our group mentioned doing them without par boiling 1st and I now do them this way all the time - easier, quicker n tasty - bout 25-30 mins at 220/230

I always do my chips or potato cubes this way, probably due to laziness or impatience, but they come out lovely. I do mine at 180 fan assisted for about 35-40 mins.

After a wedding over the weekend, I've no idea on how many syns I've had, but it's LOTS. Need to stay on track for Thursday, as really really don't want a gain, but in all honesty, I would wholly deserve it.

(Booie - I'm also losing wedding for my wedding next year, so that ought to keep me motivated!)
Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!
  • hi guys, whats the recipe for these free chips..and are they really good wivout lashings of mayoniase?hehe
  • SW Free chips

Free on all plans, (but on red you have to leave the skins on to count them as your healthy extra)

Cut your potatoes into chips or wedges or cubes or slices or whatever.

Have a pan of water at boiling point, and blanch (boil) your chips for 4 minutes.

Drain them into a colander, and leave to steam dry for a few minutes - up to 10 mins. (you can chill them or freeze them at this stage to make them ahead for another time)

Have your oven preheated to about 200 deg (all ovens vary).

Shake the chips a bit to rough up the surface, then spray them with frylight and sprinkle with salt or any other (free) seasoning.

pop into the oven for 25 - 35 minutes, shaking and turning about half way through.

mayo entirely optional :rotfl: , but why not experiment with dips made from quark or fromage frais, or yogurt.
  • Right, I am off to meal plan Monday to Thursday. I was a naughty girl this weekend, and had a lot of gin (not to mention the chinese!), so have to make serious inroads by weigh in tuesday in order to avoid paying my consultant!!

    edit:

    Marvellous - job done.

    Today is M2M

B - 0% yog, banana and blueberries. tea (HA)

    apple as a snack

    L (green) - wholemeal pasta, with a tomato/bacon (B)/chunky veg etc sauce.

D (red) - sea bass fillets, new potatoes (B), courgettes, green beans and broc. maybe a spinach sauce (ckn bovril, spinach, ff fromage frasis etc), maybe not ...

Hi Everyone, I'm Booie, and this week is my first week with SW, I've done it before many years ago, but left due to a nervous breakdown.

I've managed to read this thread up to page 71, and i'll probably try to to catch up as and when i come on, but can someone please put me out of misery and tell me if the lady who was losing weight to fit into her wedding gown for her 25th wedding anniversary managed to do it. She came on night before and had lost 3 stone then, but hadn't yet tried her dress on, dint know if it would fit and she'd let everyone know. I've forgotten her name, i tried finding it again, but I couldn't remember which page it was, and i got to admit, I know the big day has been and gone, but i'm all nervous for her.
So can someone put me out my misery. pleeeeease.

Oooo, oooo,:D that was me. Does this mean I'm famous! :j

Yes I did manage to get it on although I couldn't fasten it all the way to the top. I was very pleased, sorry to have caused you 'misery' :D. Thankyou

I joined SW 3 weeks ago, and have fallen off the wagon a bit already

However I am back on track today. I have 6 stone to lose, although am looking at it stone at a time!!

I am doing extra easy at the moment, do people think its good, or is red and gree days better?

Apologies if this has been answered already, my PC is so slow that it takes ages to see the previous pages!!

For info - today I have had a banana, ham and boiled egg white sandwich (brown bread - HE), muller light.

I also have an apple, tangerine and a banana in my lunch box, plus 2 babybels (HE). For tea I am having chicken, boiled rice and heaps of free veg!
