Im off to have fresh pineapple with 0% greek yoghurt, can I double check pineapple is free on red? I always thought it was like parsnips and sweetcorn and had syns on red but not sure.

I am pretty sure fresh pineapple is free on both days. I have enjoyed it quite a lot recently as there have been some on offer at £1 (I bought 2 in asda at £1 each yesterday) :j

When I have had tinned pineapple with my gammon - Ive synned this but it isnt very many as far as I can recall.

Thank goodness its free I just scoffed half a pineapple and a banana with yoghurt lol. I also got them for £1 in Asda, its a great price as the ready prepared stuff is sooo expensive, it didnt take me long at all to prepare it, plenty left for brekkie.

I started off on a EE day, am supposed to be doing SE this week, my 2nd day of the week I couldn't manage it.
I seem to be really, really hungry the last 2 days??
So I started off ok with:
    B) Melon, 2 wheetabix HEB Milk from allowance HEA

    L) Still 'hungry' for substantial food, so Alpen with a banana and Muller yog

    D) Roast pork, fry light butternut squash, cauli, runner beans, small stuffing ball, 4 tbsp gravy made from granules.
I reckon about 12 syns in there!

    S) 2 Roses chocs 5 syns

I feel as big as a hippo and am quite full but could still eat :(
I'm getting depressed about tomorrows WI AGAIN!!!
My scales (I know we shouldn't) say I am the same as last week??? Will see tomorrow.
I so want to give up if the scales are the same this week, well I've been wanting to give up for a few weeks, as some of you know.
Maybe I'll take up the free weekly sessions my consultant offered after all???
I'm hanging on in there by the skin of my teeth!
We are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................

Hi Everyone, I'm Booie, and this week is my first week with SW, I've done it before many years ago, but left due to a nervous breakdown.

I've managed to read this thread up to page 71, and i'll probably try to to catch up as and when i come on, but can someone please put me out of misery and tell me if the lady who was losing weight to fit into her wedding gown for her 25th wedding anniversary managed to do it. She came on night before and had lost 3 stone then, but hadn't yet tried her dress on, dint know if it would fit and she'd let everyone know. I've forgotten her name, i tried finding it again, but I couldn't remember which page it was, and i got to admit, I know the big day has been and gone, but i'm all nervous for her.
So can someone put me out my misery. pleeeeease.

Yes it did fit and she posted on here! I have a memory like a sieve as well and can't remember who it was but she tried it on the night before her anniversary and it did fit her so she was very happy!:j

Oh, thats great, thankyou for answering that for me, I can stop 'fretting' about it now, She didn't say what the alternative would have been, and was a tad concerned the old flanneette sheet had come out, with an head hole and arm holes cut out. hehehe.
Yay, well done that lady, (forgive me and retiredlady for not remembering your name, lol) :T :T

I wanted to do success express this week as its the only plan I havent tried in all my months of going to SW. I never got round to it unfortunately and I weigh in on Tuesday

I have had a couple of days this week "off plan" but for the days when I have been following SW, Ive stuck to it as I should and not gone over my syns! (normally if i have a day off plan - the whole week goes pearshaped)

Ive had either red / green or mix to match days and I have supplemented all of my meals with superfree foods - mixed salad leaves, baby onions / spring onions / peppers / pickled onions etc so the principle of success express is there, Im just not religiously measuring the 2 to 1 principle.

You mention you have been hungry and I am not surprised if all you have eaten is just what you have listed.

let me comment on your menu by including what I would have added if I was eating it.

    B)Boiled eggs
Melon, 2 wheetabix HEB Milk from allowance HEA

    mid morning snack mullerlight yogurt

second mid morning snack - carrot and pepper sticks served with very low fat fromage frais mixed with lemon juice, chilli flakes, cumin powder and fresh or dried mint (for a dip)

    L) Still 'hungry' for substantial food, so Alpen your other HEB with a banana and Muller yog

How can you feel full if both your breakfast and lunch are cold meals? Im not being critical but your "lunch" would have been my lunch pudding. I would have made your day a mix to match day and had a jacket potato and beans for lunch with 28g cheese as my HEA. also some mixed leaves / tomatoes / spring onions / carrots etc

Afternoon snack - piece of fruit / alpen light 3 syns

    D) Roast pork, fry light butternut squash, cauli, runner beans, small stuffing ball, 4 tbsp gravy made from granules.
I reckon about 12 syns in there!

I would (if it was me) have skipped on the alpen at lunch and saved the HEB to have 198g of baby potatoes cooked as roasties the SW way with my roast pork. I dont think your roast would have amounted to 12 syns - more like 6 (3.5 for stuffing ball - 2.5 perhaps for gravy) but thats just an educated guess.

    S) 2 Roses chocs 5 syns

I would have skipped the roses and gone for something more fulfilling. two roses chocs gone in a snaffle. A treat size bag of cadburys buttons is 4 syns and each one can be savoured.

as an alternative to the chocolate though, I would go for a meringue nest (typically 2.5 syns) and served it with total greek 0% yogurt (free) and mixed berries (both free)

Im not sure how long you have been doing the plan or how far you have to go - (ive had trouble keeping up with all the posts recently) but think of SW like a money box. you are putting something into the moneybox by following the plan and although the results might not show just yet they will in time. Have a look at your superfree pages - perhaps write a list out and make it your challenge to cross as many off as possible. I call it slimming world bingo!

If you are hungry then you are doing something wrong (as our consultant would say). Your morale will also be low because you will be thinking what is the point of this?

no matter what the scales say tomorrow, stick with it. if it was easy we wouldnt need sw and we would all be slim. Unfortunately I like to munch too much! and I have paid the price but now when I munch, I do it with my eyes open and have SW to get me back on the straight and narrow.

Angie loves veg recently said plan SW around the food you want to eat so perhaps post a list of your most favourite foods and I will see what i can think of for you.
