Can anyone recommend any low/no syn quick grab snacks? My diet downfall is craving something sweet around this time of day but I don't always have time or inclination to cook anything.
I try to eat yogurt and fruit during the day and I really can't tolerate any more of it in the evening:o so is there anything else I could pick on?
Danone shape yoghurt - so thick feels a real treet
fresh pineapple - nice n sweet so feels a treat - get pre packaged one - more expensive but easy to eat as a snack
Choc N Fudge Alpen Lights - 2 = he b - if syning I THINK about 5 syns each
carrot sticks ?
then a couple faves of mine:
Sainsbury no added sugar marshmallows - 1syn = 4 mallows
Bahlsen Afrika biscuits + 1 biscuit is 1 syn and they are Yummy - My local Morrison sell themHate and I do mean Hate my apple Mac Computer - wish I'd never bought the thing
Do little and often
Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:0 -
I was doing ok this week until last night when we wee invited out to dinner. DH's 65th birthday. I did try to choose sensibly; chicken with ginger and banana but unfortunately it came in a cream sauce. I chose what I thought was the least Synful sweet - cream caramel. However, when I took into account a glass of wine and then remembered the french toast and the pat of butte, I worked out the Syns for yesterday to be around 40:eek:  . I have also got visitors tomorrow and two more meals out at the weekend. I can see some of my last week's loss of 4lbs going back on
.
Today I have been very good - damage limitation.
Breakfast - Allbran; smilk - HEB; HEA
snack - Muller light yoghurt; cherries - free; free
lunch - Pasta; quark; 1oz cheddar - free; free; 6Syns
snack - banana - free
dinner - chicken; leeks; swede; SW roasties - free; free; free; free
By the way, well done Taxi on your fantastic weight loss.

I have had that happen too, so I will try the fried version.
Thanks for the advice about the fat free fromage frais sw-mina. I think I might try it with low fat yogurt instead. I think I will need lots of mustard though to take the taste away.:hello:0 -
