OH Thats just not fair! lol .. a bottle on WW was only 7 points
lol .. (im not complaining tho! cos it means i can eat more on SW lol ...
Im kinda thinking if i have my chinese and wine i could sorta spread the damage over till w.i lol
i always have chowmein .. and we usually share the sweet and sour chicken ....
thanks consultant! ... certianly shows you where the bad things are doesnt itHoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
In using the book a bottle of rose is around 25 syns I think, maybe someone else has a more accurate figure but I worked that out using the sw bible.
Im not sure about the chinese food as the sw bible gives you the chicken balls as part of a sweet and sour dish.
If you have a green day boiled rice is free, fried rice is 4 syns for a 300g serving and pilau is 2.5 syns for 180g.
Sorry im probably not much help0 -
Its fine
i just wanted an idea on how bad my meal normally is from the chinese lol ... and its certainly not looking good! Im thinking shall i have the chinese and forget the wine! .. and try and balance my syns out till w.i on monday ... not sure if i can do that on EE ?
Hoping to be a thinner me in 2010!0 -
Can you have something other than wine (I love my wine and before I joined SW last week usually had a bottle at the weekend and it was my drink on a night out)
I drink gin and slimline tonic? at only 2.5 syns I can have a couple with a chinese and still be under 15 syns for the day (providing I have a syn free day until that point which i usually do).0 -

I am a cookbook collector  .... I have (literally) hundreds, and cook from them every single night, and many times at lunchtime too. Once you know the 'rules' of SW you will find many many recipes that fit without any changes, and almost all the rest just need a tweak here or an adaption there.
Jamie is very much part of our lives too
Enjoy your time with SW - it allows you to cook and eat and lose weight - quite cool really
Tonight for example, I am eating a morrocan sweet tagine, with chicken, chickpeas, onions, apricots and carrots all served on cous cous. Not a syn in sight
Thank you:D
Can you tell me how much (in syns) a can of Rajah coconut milk is? (or any can of coconut milk)
No calories or fat guides on the side.
I use them for my curries (well Jamies curries:D ).0 -

Exactly what I've just done!
Snacks; sugar-free jelly, Muller Mousse (made with SF jelly), lemon meringue pie, curly wurly (lasts for AGES), Fox's Fruit Glaciers (1 syn each), Boots shaper bars (4/5 syns), frozen grapes to suck, mini meringue topped with fruit salad & yoghurt - depends what you like/craving! Oh and Marions 'breakfast rice'!!!0 -
Second question, how do you fry an egg in fry light? Do you just fry the pan and cook it on low, or do you spray it as you are going along cooking it, if that makes sense?
Thanks xx
Have you thought of microwaving rather than frying? use a small shallow bowl, drop in the egg and pierce the yolk and the white a couple of times with a fork or sharp knife. Cover the bowl with kitchen paper and mike on two-thirds power for 1 - 1.5 mins, depending on microwave and how hard you want it. If it's not quite set leave it covered for half a minute or so. This way you need no fat at all and you can call it poached or fried:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Lots of people seem to think wine is about 30 syns a bottle but actually all wine (red, white, rose) is 24 syns a bottle unless it's a sweet wine, in which case it's 32. Blossom Hill isn't sweet - (there are 4x175mls in a bottle, hence 4x6 syns = 24).
