It's still great judderman! 1lb for me last night. Was hoping for 1.5lbs, but I'm sure I'll get my first sticker next week.
Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!
  • Hi everyone,

Not been on for a few days, so hope everyone is well.

I did my first EE week and lost 1.5lbs. Very pleased with that - and finding that EE fits in really well with what my family like to eat. Dp has a real thing about "proper meat"!! So I don't feel like I'm missing out on half a meal, or cooking something different.

morning everyone, nice to see some good losses :)

has anyway tried success express? always seems too much planning but the FO "bible" says it is a good way to boost weightloss, if you have been struggling.

    TIA

    :)

There's a lady on minimins who doesn Success Express A LOT and seems to lose IIRC 5-7lbs a week!

Yes, think I will be trying more red days - only two this week as I have leftovers to use up so a green/EE day today (haven't decided yet!) Red day yesterday and ate LOADS and 1 syn! Might try and make both weekend days red for WI on Monday!

Just had two of my favourite collegaues move into my office as we've had a big change around and neither could believe it when I said I still had 5 stone to lose! They nearly fainted! One's going to start 'dieting' a bit so at least they won't be bringing naughty stuff in - though I will have to get cakes for work on Tuesday (and yes I'm going to have one! :p ) :o

I miss all my homemade stuff :( I know they always say SW is not a diet but it sure does rely on a lot of diet yogurts, diet jelly, diet sweeteners etc.

Have you tried 1/2 quark, 1/2 fat free yoghurt and a beaten egg cooked gently in a pan with a little seasoning and nutmeg for a white sauce? Tastes much better than the curdled stuff I used to end up when trying to cook SW friendly things! :rotfl:

Re homemade stuff, I think the good thing about SW is that using your syns for these things gives you an idea of what a sensible amount of treats is - e.g. maybe a slice of cake every other day rather than a wedge for elevenses then after dinner as well ;)

Some people are happy using artificially sweetened cakes etc, others don't think it comares to the real thing so have the sugar/fatty version, just less often. Don't cut out the things you miss or you'll be in danger of falling off the wagon, just make sure you have them as an occasional treat which you really enjoy :D

My day yesterday - I feel like I'm getting in control of my synful self which is good. :j Whereas before Xmas if there was chocolate at work I wouldn't be able to leave it alone, but we've got loads at the moment and I had a very reserved 2 fingers yesterday, and thats it.:j Somebody bought me a packet of my favourite chocolate biccies and I didn't even start on them, but gave them away to the cleaner for her daughter :A (Well, I say I'm getting back in control but a whole packet of my favourite open on my desk is still likely to be a recipe for disaster :o As is keeping chocolate in the house :o )

Does anyone else get blood sugar lows in the afternoon? I'm sure its what I'm eating at lunchtime, because its mainly carbs. Anyone got any red or superfree lunch ideas for the termially disorganised..? :rotfl:

    Thank you:beer:

That must be a small can?

My baked bean sized one is 400ml.

So like for like would be 21 syns, a bit lower:D

Where do you get that one?

I also have some boxes of the dried ones, I must dig them out & ask for help syning them.
