Yoga and sit-ups only strengthen the muscles underneath but don't seem to get rid of the 'tyre'!
Thanks C xx
Will do! - I find that too, you strengthen the muscles underneath, and if anything, it just makes the layer of fat on top stick out even more! hhhmmmmppphhhh!!!
I asked my bro last night what he thought (did a sports science degree, and was majorly into the gym at one point), his suggestion was to run/cycle/swim/use stairmaster, as often as possible - Great!! All the things I absolutely hate doing!!(Well, apart from the swimming!! I actually quite enjoy that!!)

Hi All, when extra easy was explained to me I thought never, all that we'd been taught - don't mix red & green. But it does work, why, 'cos you can only have one Heallthy A and one Healthy B so in fact if you think about it you are saving 12 syns this way.I do think as mentioned before you have got to do this day 100%.I look at it this way, if I am having rice or potatoes then it is an EE day otherwise red or green with 2 HEA & 2HEB0

I joined last Wednesday night and started my diet on Saturday having had a subway (mystery shop job) on Thurs lunchtime and then a Mexican meal out on the Thurs evening for my hubbie's birthday. I then had a Pizza Hut buffet lunch on Fri as my son was then going away with his Dad for a week and I wouldn't see him.
So with 4 full days of dieting I lost 1.5lbs. I was a little disappointed with the loss, as I would have liked more, especially on my 1st week and having so much to lose (around 4 stones).
However, tomorrow is a new day and I shall be back on it with gusto all week then.:hello:0 -

all sorts inc:
food diary (I find SW printed ones nowhere near enough space) - with a fornula to track syns consumed in a 7 day period
walking log - formula to track various totals inc distance walked/claories burned etc
links to various things slimming world
a sheet for keeping tabs on progress towards achieving short/mid term goals - shows time left and weight to go.
if you're interested (and anyone else who would like it) - just drop me a pm with "subscribe" in the subject header n let me have yr name and email address and I'll send you a copy and add you to a list of folk I send any updated versions to
