Good Afternoon all! Hope everyone is well. I walked to the shops today, all by myself. What a big brave girl I am!!
well done lo_bush!! You'll be back up and at 'em in no time at all (Whatever that actually means!!)
xx
PS Good luck with all the walking SC!! One of my friends tried to a 63 mile walk over 3 days last year, sprained her ankle after about 1.5 miles, but kept walking for another 20+ = left her ankle in a bit of a state for a good while afterwards! But you're obviously far more sensible than her - since she didn't really bother with any training at all!!0 -
Hi Everyone!
This is my first post on this particular thread and I have spent the last hour trying to find out about the new Extra Easy plan in the latest issue of SW magazine. Can someone please explain how this works ?
A brief background, I lost 2 stone with SW last year but gave up after a year and surprise - put a stone back on. I really need to drop the weight once and for all and SW is the best hope I have of doing it. I can't manage to attend a meeting once a week because of work and home commitments and so I would like to use this thread as my own virtual group if nobody minds!
I want to lose at least a couple of stone to start and before I go on holiday at the end of May. I love reading the magazine especially when the success stories are huge weight losses over a relatively short period of time (this month someone lost 4 and a half stone in 7 months - I could go for that!) It gives me hope. I am in total control of all aspects of my life apart from my weight - which is madness because only I can control what I eat and when - so I should have it sussed.
Does anyone have any tips to get me going ? I understand how the plan works, but the Extra Easy addition was brought in after I left Group so any explanations on this would be great!
Thanks in advance to anyone who has taken the time to read and I look forward to sending and receiving virtual support whilst we are on our weight loss journey!

So I'm gonna see if there's anything specific I could be doing to help it on it's way!!
What about you?

When you find out would you be so kind as to let me know - this is my main problem area and causes me much distress.Yoga and sit-ups only strengthen the muscles underneath but don't seem to get rid of the 'tyre'!
Thanks C xx0 -
Hi
Thanks for the 2 cheescake recipies already. Does anyone have any more? Also does anyone have any opinions about the extra easy plan? its just people keep telling me they are skeptical as they have always been told not to mix like you do on EE!!
Thanks0 -
Mrs Optimist - very easy.
You mix all red and green free foods- they are all free on EE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can take any ONE HEa and ONE HEb per day (from either red OR green - doesn't matter)
Then your 5 - 15 syns per day too.
Is this enough explanation?? Please ask if its not enough detail!0 -
To work out your syns tho check out the syn value on each day but always count the lower value. Its also recomended but not necessary to have a 3rd of your plate superfree foods (foods that are free on both days such as veg cottage cheese etc).
SC Typo....1 HEA and 1 HEB but you can have 2 HEB and no HEAs if you get what i mean.
Hope this helps youDFW red and green memberDoing my best to lose weight and save money0 -

Hello Mrs O and welcome to our group! EE plan is quite simple really. All food that is free on red and free on green is free on EE. Don't confuse HE as free foods:D so bread and cereal etc are not free foods!
Since you are now having unlimited red and green together you will only get 1 HEA and 1 HEB per day. Any syns you have should be counted at the lower value. ie if something is 2 syns on green but 378 on red you count it as 2 syns:T:T
Thats it in a nutshell really!
Good luck
Marion
ps and edit - oh yes, I keep forgetting about the 1/3 of your plate with superfree foods for a quicker weight loss! When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
