Morning all, are we all set for a lovely romantic day?
I cant be bothered with Valentines to be honest. Its just another day for us to feel guilty about, spend more money and eat too much (its not even Saint Valentines any more!) The one thing I think its good for is secret admirers and getting people together. When was the last time anyone had a card from a secret admirer? I think I was 11 :rotfl:

Oh is cooking dinner tonight, but thats not unusual as he cooks at least one of the weekend nights he is home . but im certainly not complaining. Ive a feeling he is going off plan slightly and hes got some bubbly, but ive saved a few syns for a treat.

so today will be EE -

Brekkie - 2 slices of wm toast, with banana, tea using part HEA

mid morning - half a canteloupe melon

Lunch - kings prawns, chilli flakes, lemon, garlic, stir fry veg, served with a bathelors savoury rice (all free)

Dinner - starter Scallops with rocket salad (free) rack of lamb with loads of veg (free) pud is some sort of chocolate cheesecake god knows how many syns

    bottle of bubbly between us

Im going to have some Sw chips ready to pop in the oven if we get the munchies later on

I hope we manage to stick to this, as its on Saturdays we do the most damage, usually with crisps and wine but im staying away from shops today so I wont be tempted.

  • hello! I started SW last Monday first weigh in after the weekend!

I am quite large so have a bit to loose but I am not setting myself un realistic target!

I have felt really good on the plan so far, I dont seem to be having enough sins though but I making sure I have the minimum a day.

OH has booked us a lovely 4 course meal tonight, this was planned before I joined SW. I am going to have to be so careful as I dont want to not loose on week one when I have done so well but I want us to have a lovely evening. I have told OH he will have to drink the wine and I will have my gin and slimline tonic.

ive herd that bacholars past n sauce are free on green do u jst make them with water then ?
  • Well, today will be interesting  DH is cooking tea tonight, and whilst I don't know what it is, I know it includes hm pasta, meat and double cream  - this much has been established from the contents of the fridge

So, in damage limitation, I plan to have a syn free day (up to that point) and will follow EE as it seems the best for what will be.

Breakfast; two 'fried' eggs on HB toast, tea (milk HA)
Lunch; Jacket spuds seems a plan - if I get them in now, should be good. family can choose toppings from beans, cottage cheese, sweetcorn, leftover vegi tagine etc etc..... that should keep us all going for tonight

... thank heavens I finished my challenge .. I miss weigh in this week (half term) I have another 10 days to get myself back into target range if tonight goes very 'flexible' :rotfl: :rotfl:

    :A Have a great day everyone :A

the tomato based ones - yes. The milk based ones, I use some of my A choice milk allowance. Never tried making a milk based one with water, but I'd guess some of the SW have. I think a couple of them have something like half or 1 syn, but the chicken and mushroom one is definitely free.
