    I lost 1/2lb overnight, woo!

I dont know what I'm eating today yet, though I've had weetabix and low fat yoghurt for breakfast so far. I'm thinking of making onion soup for dinner as we have a fridge overflowing with them :)

Lunch will probably be something with mushrooms, pasta perhaps

  • Good morning everyone. I have been following this thread for some time now and love the friendliness and support you give to each other. Please may I join you as I seem to be struggling at the moment.

I joined my local SW Group end of last June and have been quite successful - nearly 3 stone lost - but have lost my way a bit since EE started. I have such a lot to lose still - at least another 3 stone.

BTW I really enjoy Marion's rice and yoghort.

    Hi SpirirtoftheSouthWest welcome!

I must admit I am feeling very left out having not tried this breakfast yogurt! :p
I am feeling goooooooood though, just joined the gym, coughed up all my money and have my induction tomorrow :D:D

 Morning all - hope you're having a great weekend.

My first week went well and I lost 2.5 lbs. I ate loads and didn't feel deprived, even on night shifts.

Can anyone tell me what is Marion's rice? I've had a look through the forum and see it mentioned loads of times but can't find the recipe.

My standby has been leek and potato soup: pots, leeks, an onion, a carrot, couple of sticks of celery, simmered together then whizzed and half a pint of semi-skimmed milk added (hea). It makes loads and is filling.

I miss bread...as I used to eat loads of it.

I miss bread too- especially at lunch time! Marions rice is:
half cup pudding rice cooked with 1 cup of water. (not flaked rice- ordinary pudding rice) Add yogurt and fruit. Stir. Eat!
    I asked yesterday!
Well done on your weight loss. That's great!

  • Hello! Welcome spirit, its a great bunch to be around and lots of help & inspiration! :T

I'm just about to add up how bad yesterday actually was...

brunch- gnocchi (10 syns!) pesto (1.5), peas and quark, 2 x cheese ( 2 HEa)
Dinner - the thai curry I posted a couple of pages back, except I used twice the amount of coconut milk, so 6.5 syns in total as I also used fish sauce. WARNING: Never sniff concentrated fish sauce out of interest! bleurgh! :o Made it with 2 x heB fish and froze half so only had 1 healthy B yesterday - oops.

It was a lovely curry and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Especially since housemate and BF had dominoes pizza last night, I would have felt all sad and left out if I hadn't had a really nice "treat" type meal.

total syns: 18. I'm going to keep today to 2 or under as I find I don't loose too well if I go over 70 in the week.

    Today's plan: Extra easy.

    Brunch) beans on toast (Heb)
Dinner) either beany chilli or scouse: I haven't decided yet. I think I need to get some more veg in so I'll either have stir fry veg with it or an apple or two today.

Please feel free to cut and stick ;)

Marion's rice is cooked dessert rice (or I use any other leftover rice) stirred into a muller with additional fruit eg Blueberry muller with blueberries
    Toffee muller with banana
Very filling and delicious....I guess you could use other yogs too ;)

Soz have seen I was a bit slow in posting:rotfl:
