Debbie this looks fine for an ee day but just make sure you are keeping track of any syns:

Did you use spread on your barcon sarnie - if so syn it.

What was the cheese at lunchtime was it VLF? If so thats fine HEA or if not syn it.

Low sugar jelly will probably have syns depending on which one it was - syn it.

Did you make your own sauce SW style (passatta, onions, etc..) or did you use a jar? - If jar syn it if you used tomato puree - syn that also.

Keep it up I love EE it has made such a difference to my ability to be able to follow this plan.

I am pretty sure you can have 28g of full fat cheese for HEA if it is low fat you get 42g !

  • Dear all - I posted once or twice a few weeks back and have been following your adventures ever since, but I feel like a voyeur so I have to reveal myself! I've picked up some fab tips from you all, especially about drinking more liquids and ensuring the Healthy Extra Bs are included.

About the liquid, on these cold days, my workmate and I keep encouraging each other to drink more water but we both like just hot water! It's worth a try, it warms your hands the same as a cup of coffee and you really can get into it.

I was going to ask you all if Ryvita Multi Grain was like Scan Bran but yesterday I found it mentioned in the SW handbook (I was a member briefly about 2 years ago but I too had a consultant who didn't give a toss, she wanted to leave and it showed). I was also going to ask about Shape Feel Fuller Longer yogs, but someone mentioned them recently so I guess they are free - I've trained myself to eat them and they aren't as bad as I thought. I can't eat Muller because it's an ugly name - I know that's silly but there it is.

Can I say I think you are all fabulous, your knowledge, your helpfulness and your encouragement to each other. JemmaBe especially I admire, it must be so hard on a student budget with everyone else eating just what they want.

I've managed to drop 8 lb since Christmas, not great but better than the other way, and I'm sure it is reading this thread that keeps me going. But am I the only one who, if someone mentions something really sinful like Pizza, immediately wants some?

(PS please imagine lots of smileys in this post, I've tried to "go advanced" and it just brought me back here so I've given up :o) )
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

    Evening all,

I've had a green day today and am now completely stuffed!

B - fried eggs and baked beans
L - Egg sarnie & tea from Costa Coffee
D - Mango slices, two quorn burgers in a wholemeal roll with slice of cheese and tonnes of SW chips

I've worked out the sarnie had 15 syns but I think I'm right in thinking I can knock 6 off of that for the bread.

    Bring on tomorrow, woo!

Hellloo blackberry rum! this thread is amazing, so much inspiration and people to keep you in check!

Had a lovely day with my sister, didn't worry about syns and had a sandwich from boots for lunch. We had a very honest discussion as perhaps one can only have with their sister, and she told me that I was looking slim, but what I really needed to do now was go to the gym. It is on campus, and I am going tomorrow to sign up and book an induction :) I am going to buy an armband thing so put my ipod on, so I can plug myself in and try to get a good workout perhaps 2 times a week, and go to aerobics once a week. I really am dedicated to the cause this time round, and hopefully I will get 'addicted' to it like people say they do (:s)

hope everyone has had a good day :D
