argh argh I am literally holding on by a thread here.I have had all my HEs and 9 syns.
I am trying to convince myself to hold on and have a big free dinner rather than pizza

Edit: Got me free chips on the go now, hope I don't burn them this time. Will have it with THREE quorn sausages, beans and sweetcorn.
Can't see how that is less calories than a pizza.. but not for me to decide I suppose

Pizza is stodge - far too much cheese and a dough base (even Italian) that has no benefit to the body whatsoever. The meat toppings are usually greasy and fatty and the whole thing has oil drizzled on it.
(God, never thought I'd hear myself say that as I used to LURVE pizza, but can't bear the thought of putting that crap in my body anymore!)

i just wondered if anyone kew the syns of the sainsburys be good to yourself chocolate mousse or chocolate sponge?

anyway, well done to everyone on their losses and thanks in advance for all your support

Found a chocolate mocha dessert (Be Good to Yourself) at 6syns per 100gm pot if that helps.

However, a nice home made chocolate pud for just 2 syns is easy to make using quark (or very low fat fromage frais) and stirring in a chocolate Options (any flavour) very yummy :D

Or, this one is a firm favourite in my groups:

Pink Pudding (Only 2 syns for the WHOLE LOT)

    2 tubs quark
1 sachet sugar free jelly, preferably raspberry
    ¼ pt boiling water
    1 bag/tub frozen raspberries, defrosted (approx 400g)
    2 tbsp Splenda

Put the Quark and splenda in a bowl. Make up the jelly with ¼ pt boiling water and add to the quark. Mix well using a stick blender if possible.
Fold in the raspberries with a metal spoon then put into serving bowls and chill until set.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

I think I know it in my heart of hearts. I am following this chip recipe to the LETTER this time (ie letting them dry for 10mins etc) and they have already held their shape better :) I figure if I can get through days like the, just breaking the cycle for even 1 week I can start loosing the taste for things like you (skint_catt) and pizza were referring to :)

Ok, I'm going to write out a SW friendly shopping list tomorrow but one that has to be budget friendly, any ideas for what to do to keep the bill down? I dont want to spend more than £35-40 really (for two adults)

    It was issued this week.

Money saving..... for fruit and veg use a local market if you have one - they cost a fortune in supermarkets IMO.
Try to shop either very early or very late when there are items reduced for a quick sale.
Bulk out meat recipes (like cottage pie etc) with lentils or grated carrot - makes the meat go much further.
