Another "maintain" to report.
I have one pound to go to lose 2 stones but it may as well be a STONE, because it sure aint shifting. It has been like this for months and I feel it's a waste of time going & getting weighed and paying for the privelege.
I love the SW way of eating (as I've said before) and feel well but it's annoying me now, because like everyone else, I'm watching the pennies.
I have to say I am rather disappointed with our consultant because she knows how I feel and is not being very helpful.
Sorry if this sounds negative but all she seems to do is come up with excuses or reasons why people are not losing weight rather than positive suggestions. If you mention water she says "maybe you're not drinking enough". Another week it will be "maybe you're retaining water." Sometimes its "are you sure you're eating enough?" Next time its "perhaps you should cut back on your syns." "Are you getting enough exercise?" then "Maybe it's the exercise making you gain muscle." Some weeks she is really scratching around for excuses. I think with me, she's run out now!!:rotfl:

Water is the new key to my success. I couldn't understand why if I was eating so much fibre nothing was happening down there (too much information probably). I later found out that eating a high fibre diet you need to drink LOTS otherwise it has the opposite effect to what it should do.
What days to you do pennylane? if you are doing EE it may not be for you?0 -
Well done Jemma :T , you must be delighted! That gets you back on track now also, so you can keep a check on how you do every week.
Claire - hello and welcome
Pennylane - from what you said it sounds like she is looking for ways to help (in her own way), it soulds like the sort of questions I would ask.
If you are following the plan 100% and writing everything down and weighing your HE's then I would probably ask those type of questions too.
Just thinking aloud here but could it be a medical issue - say the pill or hormones or thyriod?
I would write every single thing down that passes your lips and take it to her next week and ask her to go through it with you. If there is no real reason why you are not losing as you should perhaps you may want to do the Fast Forward plan, that is someting your consultant may suggest, or you may want to ask her, it can get your metabolims going and get your losses coming again.
You are not alone though there have been loads of messages from girls and guys in the same boat as you.
One last thought - is it worth going to a different class with a different consultant? Perhaps ask about to see if someone can recommend a class in your area.

Thanks for that Kandipandi. I probably didn't explain myself very well. These things she says, she says to everyone as we go round after weigh-in. Like one person will say they've only lost half a pound and she might say "are you doing enough exercise?" Next person says they have maintained and she asks about exercise and that person says she's doing plenty, then the consultant says "Ah ha, that'll be muscle then." And so it goes on, she almost sighs with relief when she comes up with a reason why things are not moving.I always fill in my sheets and she has had them SO many times and says they're fine.
The only reason I can think of his HRT patches. I've been on them a few years and the nurse says its definitely not them. How can it be possible to lose nearly 2 stones (albeit slowly & surely) and then not an ounce for months?0 -
today...........erm.........I am 'fully embracing' the EE plan
so far I have had
1 muller
pasta n sauce (1 HE on milk for it) with mozzarrella (the other HE) and about 2 ounces of chicken in it
small cereal bowl of lefotver chilli and rice
small cereal bowl of leftover cottage pie
3 digestive biscuits.
Dinner is going to be pasta, chicken, fresh tomato and basil sauce.
Technically I'm within the rules of the plan but I'm bitterly cold, 3 inches of snow was dumped on Poole in less than 2 hours this lunchtime (!) and feel the need to eat, so have done"Stay Wonky":D
