belated birthday wishes to lo bush :bdaycake: and huge hugs :grouphug: :grouphug:
also huge hugs to nearly 30 too :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: stick with it. try to think about your weight loss over the month rather than the individual week cause sometimes our bodies dont want to play ball and decide to throw a tantrum thus meaning the scales dont show what we want to see. Ensure you drink lots of water (especially if you are having green day type foods) and also ensure you have your HEA and HEB options (2 of each if you are not doing extra easy). Enjoy some syns too and make sure you do pile your plate and dont try to be too good cause that will have the opposite effect and you wont lose weight. Our bodies like surprises so I would even be tempted to have a piece of chocolate cake!

Wow Angie loves veg. I wish I had your commitment. Your menu sounds fab. Its great everyone posting their menus because you dont have come up with some great ideas :D

Thanks for all the recent recipe suggestions - will hope to try some of them out soon. and thank you skint catt, I have all the bits to make your lemon meringue dish this weekend, cant wait :j

huge hugs to everyone else. Everyone is doing so well and you should all feel very pleased. Huge pats on the back for you all :T:T:T:T

God, it's good to have a BEEF lasagne for a change instead of Quorn! :j Had another good day; had cheese as my HEa and two slices of garlic bread with the lasagne - 10syns! :j

Shhh don't say that I am trying to develop my taste for quorn! Don't remind me of the good stuff :p

cooking it in watered down bovril (aka beef) helps to make it a bit tastier I find.

I would rather have beef mince than quorn though I love quorn sausages and burgers

I always used Marmite as stock. I've eaten quorn at least once a week for the past 18 months - you do get used to it! OH said he preferred it, but did notice a slight difference with the beef tonight!
Quorn pieces are good in curry's as its he same texture as chicken and quorn mince in chilli isn't noticeable as there are so many spices. I found shepherds pie a bit bland with it though!

I'd rather have beef than quorn, but I'd rather have cereal than beef so I must save for my HEb of cereal! preferably twice a day, but if cheese comes into it as well, I'm afraid cheese wins.

I also find quorn beef has a slighty.. softer overall texture that I am not overly keen on, hence the baking in the oven today to make it a bit different!
