    Hello all

I've not been on for a few days so well done to all you that have had losses this week and good luck to those of you trying hard. I have WI in tonight and hope I've lost, even though I've been good all week I still feel doubtful till I get on the scales :D

Can anyone tell me if you can have Oat So Simple Original as a HEB? I thought I'd read it somewhere but can't find it now so not so sure.

    Thanks
    Chuckie

Yes, 1 x 27g sachet PLUS 1 Ryvita Wholegrain/Scan bran for your fibre.

Anyone got any ideas for huge flat mushrooms (I've got mushrooms on the brain - shame they're carceogenic (sp?)!)
One of my friends used to crush crisps into them, top with cheese, then grill (but I always imagined this wouldn't cook the mushroom!
Anything similar in the SW way?

Hi guys. Well done to everyone who's lost and everyone who didn't lose but is staying on track :) I've come off EE as I don't think it was suiting me - and a lot of people in group who'd been on it and lost have put it back on again! Anyone else noticed that?

    So today is Mix2Max

B - bacon (free), white nimble (HEb), ketchup (0.5 syns)
L - cheese (HEa) and SW chips (free), with ketchup (0.5 syns)
Snacks - tea (milk as HEa), mango, wine or vodka (8 syns), muller light
Dinner - Whatever I have in... chicken stuffed with laughing cow (1 syn), wrapped in bacon, with salad and spicy napolina sauce? With salad and some wholewheat pasta (HEb)?

    Total... 10 syns.

BTW - reallllllllllllllllllllllllllly random, but I've got a long car journey tomorrow and I always seem to stop for lunch at service stations with McD's or something naughty. Does anyone know of a service station on the M5 that DOESNT only do fish and chips or burgers????:confused:

You could make a mushroom and grilled halloumi burger with chilli jam - had that at Nandos once and it was delicious! Or I bet stilton would be nice on it.

mina - where will you be going from and to down the M5? And where abouts will you get to when you stop for lunch? maybe we can suggest somewhere (pub type place) just off the motorway that does SW friendly options?

Catt I always beleived mushrooms were anti carceogenic (i cant spell either) I was told that by a chemistry teacher many moons ago, and it always stuck with me, but I may be wrong.

I have stuffed big mushrooms with garlic quark and rice before (i do the same with red peppers) you could let them cook in the oven a bit then pop the crisps or a few breadcrumbs on at the last minute and grill them

Jammygal - I was going to say thats a green day but then I saw the mince! :rotfl: Could you not have meat (bacon?) with your chips and beans? I always think you really need to show your body what day you're on (i.e. several meat moments on a red day not just one slice of ham, several meat/carb mixes on an EE) but maybe thats just me!

Thanks hun I do need to get out of my green rut...you have made me think more adventurously tonight! I have got some bacon and prawns....hmmm
  • Hi everyone,

I am really enjoying reading all the posts on here... I lost 5 pounds in my first week so I really want to keep it going while I am feeling so motivated.

btw - the squirrel crisps are walkers cajun squirrel flavour (it does say on the packet that no squirrels were harmed in the making of the crisps....) They also do chilli and chocolate, builders breakfast, onion bhaji and fish and chip flavour.

As in actual squirell? :rotfl: Dunno why that seems so shocking - I thought that was just the brand name 'til I saw SC's post!! ;)

You'll have to try them and report back - even just for the novelty value - as not sure I could be convinced to try them! :D

    xx
ha ha - they are actually vegitarian and on the pack it says - no squirrels were harmed in the making of these crisps :rotfl: .
They were ok, not brilliant but quite spicy - they were Cajun Squirrel .
