including Sweet Potato Curry (free on green)
Slimming World onion bhajis say 3 at 1 syn each?
Chicken curry (the chicken has been marinating in yogurt and spices since last night :D) (it would have been free if SW hadn't changed the criteria for the yogurt )
    Rice (free)
    mini pitta bread x 1 4 syns
    dips including:
low fat natural yogurt mixed through with colman's garden mint sauce (the mint sauce is super free)

low fat natural yogurt mixed through with encona hot pepper sauce (the sauce is superfree)

I know its late but I wonder if anyone knows if Ryvita Fruit Crunch is the new name for the Ryvita Breaks?

I'm not sure. I got the muesli crunch thinking the same thing and there's 0.5 of a syn between them. The breaks are 2.5 and the muesli crunch 3. Haven't seen fruit crunch though so here's hoping!
I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
    I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care

The Food Standards have changed the criteria.

This is what the SW site says - will try to post the updated yogurt list as well

These tasty snacks are perfect for Food Optimisers, providing a handy snack-on-the go that’s perfect for our slimming campaign.
In new guidelines issued by The Foods Standards Agency it’s advised that the wording ‘very low-fat’ on some currently Free Food yogurts and fromage frais is too vague and that it’s therefore replaced with the term ‘fat free’. As this claim can only be used where a product contains no more than 0.5g fat per 100g/ml we’ve amended our Free Food allowances which means that some yogurts and fromage frais products are no longer Free.
We’ve got a list below of those products that were previously Free and which now contain Syns, but don’t worry, many of your favourites (including Muller Lights!) are still
    fantastically Free:

SO what is in the yogurt hasnt changed meaning it is no longer free, simply the criteria as to what it needs to contain to be classed as FREE

    DAFT if you ask me!

thanks for the flakes rice information , maybe this is why I didnt loose weight last time cos I used to have that alot because it was filling.
What annoys me most is my consulantant never told me it was a syn value when I showed her my food diary , the whole class talked about it like it was free.

I am going to try and see just how little of the stuff I can use to produce a pancake today.

my directory is the 2007 one.
    Kindness costs nothing :)

Ooooh, really? Right then - that's my next cereal to try :) I usually have porridge and have always assumed it's a HEb - it must be.... I like to mash a banana into it (sweet tooth! :p )

It's funny how things like that happen - it's a bit like the old couscous-cake-gate thing: my group won't hear it any other way than that it's free. I think rice flakes are on the same level - if you have them occasionally when you would have normally gone for flour instead, that's fine, it's when you live off the stuff the problems start.... well, that's just my humble opinion.

I'd love to hear how you get on - I reckon they'll still be really low syn.

I posted the list a few pages back - won't post it again as it's long(!) but it's there for reference if anyone can't access the webpage.

Daily eating plan Good morning everyone, feeling a little fragile this morning after overindulging in wine last night - will have to be extra good all weekend now for weigh in Monday morning:cool:

    Today I am having:

Breakfast/Brunch - bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, HM citrus fruit salad (free)

Afternoon - scan bran cakes, coffe with milk and and that new muller yogurt with chocolate flakes ( heb, hea, free)

Dinner - turkey steaks cooked in casserole with carrots, parsnips, onions served with mashed potato and mange tout (I know the mange tout sounds a little strange in there but just found them in the dish washer and need to use them up:o)(OK now realised that veg in my dishwasher also sounds a little weird:rotfl:, it broke down a while ago and I havn't bothered to get it repaired so now use it as a cold storage box!:T)

Hope you have a lovely day
    Love from Marion the Weird
