I am just guessing you would get a lot of flaked rice for 28g don't you think. I have to be honest, I am picturing this but I dont recall seeing it on the shelves. I suppose it could still come out very low syn. It sounds divine.

I've never seen it before either (except maybe in Waitrose?), and I bet it's lighter and goes further than flour, so still a good alternative!

I am pretty sure (don't have the book to hand) that it says you can have 42g full fat cream cheese as a b choice. I did wonder if it was a misprint - it sounds too good to be true - FULL FAT!!!!!! Yay. Philadelphia with garlic and herbs would be superb.

Indeed it does say that and if you want to have even more there is 85g of low fat soft cheese :)

I have been reading all your posts and trying to catch up. I've been in a lot of pain the last few days but have still managed to stick to the eating plan - it is so brilliant.

My hospital consultant was so thrilled I'd lost the 1.5 stone (thanks everyone for your help and support) and I asked about decaf tea - no prob I can drink that but not with milk. I must not have milk so that's my ideas for some recipes gone! Oh well, as long as the tests I have to have show clear and no cancer it'll be a small price to pay.

Sunday is Dydd Santes Dwynwen - Saint Dwynwen's Day. St Dwynwen is the Welsh patron saint of lovers :smileyhea and we keep her day and not St Valentine's day. My OH is taking me out for Sunday dinner rather than for a meal in the evening as it'll be easier to stick to the SW plan going out for dinner. He is so supportive with this diet.

Forgive me if I don't post very often at the moment, even my competition entries have slumped, but I will try and read your posts.

By the way I have just realised that the 8 stone I would like to lose is a whole person! ugh that sounds horrible!

Keep going everyone, we can all make it :hello:

Has anyone tried Asda maple and pecan porridge or Kellogs chocolate wheats? They're HEb options and sound like they could feel quite naughty. :p

I am now going thru my kitchen writing a list of foods to buy ,

I like experimenting with food alot , so will see what recipes I can come up with ( if any) .

I have just found this ....

A tin of Sainsburys Chicken stew - 400 gram , I cant seem to find it in my old book. Does anyone know if this has syns ?
if you focus on super free and speed food as much as you can within your daily food intake youll find youll fill up and youll burn it off quicker. also youll need to eat more if you eat little and often your metabolism will speed up as its processing food constantly if you have big breaks your body will get used to conserving food incase it goes too long without.
also make sure you have both your HE choices each day the a's are for calcium which without yor body finds it harder to process fats and will slow your slimming the B choices are for fibre and lets face it its not a nice subject but what goes in mus come out and with out your B choices youll be storing food in your tummy longer.

also drink plenty ( this is one i struggle with ) have you ever put just a dribble of milk on a weetabix? it stays solid. without plenty of fluids in your daily routine you can be eating all the right foods but it will just bung you up drink lots and it will help flush it through :-)

    hope that helps
