angie loves veg
you could your a choice from your healthy extra 6 x laughing cow extra light make it a cheesy garlic
or there are other cheese you can use.
I am pretty sure (don't have the book to hand) that it says you can have 42g full fat cream cheese as a b choice. I did wonder if it was a misprint - it sounds too good to be true - FULL FAT!!!!!! Yay. Philadelphia with garlic and herbs would be superb.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

omg , I just had to come back and report this ,
I went thru my kitchen and found a bag of "flaked pudding rice"
then had an idea , that I could make a syn free pancake like this .......
In a bowl I put :
2 eggs beaten.
half a cup of cooked flaked rice. (basically boil for 5 mins in water and drain)
1 tablespoon of sweetener .
mix all together .
Then fry in a fryingpan with fry light, just like you would a pancake.
The finished result was amazing , absolutley out of this world ,
it tasted like a real pancake , 100%. And syn free !!!!
Think I will name it ......RiceNice , lol.
I am enjoying this.
I am definitely going to try this, I love pancakes and maple syrup so much and really miss them! (plus loads of butter but best leave that off I guess)When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Basic/Non Branded Foods Rice, flaked, dried 28g dry
Original 5 Syns
Green 5 Syns
I am just guessing you would get a lot of flaked rice for 28g don't you think. I have to be honest, I am picturing this but I dont recall seeing it on the shelves. I suppose it could still come out very low syn. It sounds divine.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01
