Thanks Marion, with the thought of getting back on the diet my appetite has increased somewhat and with Tescos shut i'm running out of things to eat!

started feeling a bit 'restless' and found myself opening cupboards, so am having porridge and milk as my hea and heb with a banana. Then going to go for a walk in the park with my dog, so that should keep me on the straight and narrow until dinner!

Hi all can I join in on here even though I am a WW member?

I am a goal member but haven't been for a few months and put on some weight with stress etc Hoping to go back after the 15th Jan and loose it all. Looking forward to it :)

You are very welcome, but the receipes & some advice etc won't apply to your plan. I think there is/was a WW thread on this board which might help you more!
  • Sounds like a good idea BB - we have just got back from a very bracing walk with our 6 year old... cup of tea is calling me now :D

Had a lovely roast turkey lunch (free on EE) turkey, bacon, roast (frylighted) parsnips and potatoes, steamed carrots, sprouts and brocolli. I cooked some cranberries with sweetner to make a cranberry sauce (probably has a few syns, but not sure how many - I only ate a tbsp of the sauce) and had gravy made from granules (is that about 4 syns?).

I am doing well with my water intake.... about 750ml so far today :D

tea tonight will be turkey sarnies (bread HB) with a big salad, and I made some hummus and tzaiki last night (both free) so I can dip veggies in them if I feel peckish..

does anyone know the syn value for corona lager??? ive looked in my directory and online but cant find it. ive estimated at 12 syns per bottle (330ml) which might be being generous but better to overestimate I think! although I dont really care as I did have a good night. :rotfl:but I would just be interested to know so I can note it on my food diary.

I think lager and beer are 5 syns per half pint, does that sound right?

I'm very pleased with myself, I ate everything I planned too and feel stuffed as a parrot now and very satisfied :)

I was wondering, I assume the new EE plan can be followed on alternate days with the green and red plan? for instance EE one day, green the next and so on?

    Hi all, happy new year!

I am similar to gtstar, I have done the sw diet in the past and have lost up to 3 stone on it.

Currently I cannot afford to attend the weekly sessions, also with work commitments it can be difficult to do anything on a regular basis in the evening.

I would like to join this thread so that we can encourage each other to lose weight and give support and encouragement to one another. I know that by reading this thread it really helps to motivate me to start losing weight and by being part of this thread it will stop me from giving in to temptation  .

My next step is to find my sw books :-)

    Thanks in advance
    Helen
