It's hard to say really, depends on how much you have to lose to start with, your metabolism, your dedication and just plain luck! Some people could do it in a couple of months (or less:eek:) while others could take a lot longer (like me:o)

Either way it will come off a lot quicker once you go back:T:T

I hope so... I get fustrated when I lose slowly then turn up the tempo and put on!

haven't set one - keep swtting myself small ones and then moving the bar as I get there - have a vague idea of where I'd like to be but don't want to verbalise it so as to avoid dissapointment and don't know at what point the loss will slow down and how much it'll slow.

Whats the verdict on the correct amount of weight to lose each week? I'm hoping to lose 1lb a week, thats right isnt it?

1-2 pounds is the recommended amount.

Small targets are better I think that large ones, that way it doesnt seem like such a big mountain to climb. I ultimately want to lose over 3 stone but my first target is getting my first 14lb off, I've never been able to manage it on my own so I'm hoping that this time around I'll do it.

i've oft heard it said that 1-2 lbs per week is better than larger amounts.
