Hi everyone
I would like to report a 1.5lb loss this week so am realy chuffed.:j
I am finding the forum busy and often i am not getting replies or feedback, which i found really helpful, which is no ones fault, guess i am feeling a bit down (with my back problems/hospital) so I might not post anymorebut I will keep checking in and thanks to everyone who has kept me on course when i had my wobbles.:T
If anyone knows any other slimming world forum they could post a link to that would be fab
xx
Hi Nano, please dont leave the forum. Im sorry you feel you were overlooked, but your right it has been busy on here, but it has lulls and most peoples questions are being answered. So please keep posting and we are all here for you (and each other). As Peachy said look at your fantastic loss so far. 2 1/2 stone is a huge amount to have lost already. :T
Just take the rest in small chunks, dont think of the whole amount you want to lose, just break it down into 1 stone at a time, you'll get there.
Im sorry to hear your in so much pain, I hope the hospital manage to help you soon.
I love this forum and come on here everyday, as I would go completly off track, and constantly be having things I shouldnt have!:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Hi nano me again, I just had a wee look back a few pages, and your right, it seems a couple of your posts didnt get a response or an answer. sorry about that, I did see both those posts and thank you but didnt answer you. first off
Well done on keeping that weight loss over xmas,i think I put that much on lol.
You are of course welcome back on here, as you said your a long time poster and always give good advice, so please dont stop.
btw how was Russell Brand? Ive always thought he was hilarious, but never had a chance to see him live.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

nano, I think we all have moments of feeling invisible, but no one is really. I'm guilty of seeing someone's comments or questions and not knowing the answer so I don't post a response. I think that posting just to say "I dunno, maybe someone else does" is a waste of the OP's time, but maybe it's a good idea just so the person knows someone is actually taking notice.
And as far as other SW forums go, I tried a few and none are as good as this one. Some are helpful, some are nasty and on others you can see tumbleweed pass by!
My plan for today is:
B - porridge (HEb), water, muller light and blueberries
L - left over SW roasties, quorn sausages and peas
snacks - muller light, apple, banana and blueberries; alpen lights or ryvita minis (HEb)
Dinner tonight is likely to be pasta with veggie bolognese sauce and HEa of cheese grated on top. The other HEa has been my milk in coffee and tea in the morning. Once that has run out, I have squash, black coffee and herbal tea.I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them, but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care0 -
Morning All,
Just a quick check in this morning - I'm cramming for an exam this afternoon! so just a menu plan from me today, but will be back on later to catch up... it moves so quickly on here its difficult to keep up :rotfl:
B - Muller/Bran Flakes/Milk (HEA)
L - Wedges/Beans
D - still not sure but am hoping OH will do something nice (maybe pasta) for when I get back later
Snacks - this is the difficult part - Im tempted to take sweets for through the exam - any ideas for low syn ones? Im not sure that Im allowed to take fruit but maybe I will and leave it till after if Im not allowed it out on the table

Hi Nano - sorry to hear you feel overlooked, the thread moves so fast its difficult to keep up sometmes - maybe its the post xmas rush to shift the pounds!!
Well done for the huge weight loss you have had so far, but dont go anywhere, its great to see you here, hopefully you can get some good pain managament sorted with the hospital and can start becoming mobile again soon - and dont forget, as Nic said, take the rest of your target into smaller chunks so it doesnt feel like such a huge mountain to climb.

Think Tuesday will be my weigh in day.
Just need to get past the " oh Im straving bit" at the start which I always feel at the start of a diet etc.

cajun wedges , i had wedges today to , cajun wedges would be nice with chickpea dahl from asda (free ) with a mint yogurt dip , side salad .
Now theres a point on E/E it says if its syned take the lower syn value , so if its free on a green day and i have half green plate say rice dahl& wedges , then a big chop its still free , the dahl ?
YUP - everything's still free!0
