I never bother with butter in my Pasta n Sauces - it just don't matter! I do use the milk in the cheesy ones though but out of my allowance.
  • I've got a delivery coming from the supermarket today, I've ordered some of the chocolate Mullerlights, so I hope they are still in stock as they are on Rollback at Asda at £1.50 for 6.

    Food today:

B: Porridge (heb), milk (hea), cherry jam (1 syn)
L: Leftover rice and butter beans and some leftover chicken with butternut squash
D: Pork meatballs, tomato sauce and pasta

Think I'll probably spend the rest of my syns on some mozzarella over the meatballs.

  • Hi thought I'd share yesterdays and todays 'Extra Easy' menus... I find that EE works really well for the weekend, with more family meals, but I think Red and green (and M2M) work better for my weekdays

    Friday EE

B muller and banana, tea, milk (HA)
L SW chips, salad, tomatoes and cold turkey. 1tsp branston pickle (syns), 2 slices wm 400g bread (HB)
D - wow! - spiced pilau rice, chicken curry (Fantastic - Shahi Murgh from the curry feast book p 123), potato and spinach curry. ALL FREE! gin (2.5 syns) and slimline tonic, shared bottle of wine (12 syns)

    Today EE

B muller and banana, tea, milk (HA)
L brunch - will be eggs, bacon, beans, toms, mushrooms, toast (HB)
D beef casserole - brisket, carrots, bovril, herbs, onions, mushrooms, all served with a big pile of mash and more veggies

no syns in the menu, so plenty for a drink tonight :D

    Have a great weekend everyone

I have struggled so much today .. i really need some distractions for when i want to binge eat like tonight.

I really hope i can kick this bad habbit.

I also am finding myself cutting corners. Not properly measuring my flora light and maybe not doing my healthy extras probably , any tips to get into a good routine to avoid cutting corners?

Junior - are you letting yourself get hungry or are you eating out of boredom? If its hunger, then you need to eat more - obvious I know but cos you can have unlimited quantities you need to fill up on the superfree and if poss the superspeed foods. I have to have things ready to eat so its easy to grab and go, so I have made a huge stock pan full of soup that I can snack on and have frozen some so its a quick blast in the microwave, or I have carrot/celery/cucumber sticks sat in the fridge for me to pick at, goes great with a quark or yoghurt dip

If its boredom - what about walking, or a fitness dvd? I'm a nightmare - boredom hits me when kids are in bed and OH is at work, so Wii fit should be great but I can never be bothered to get ot out (Im so lazy)
Whenever the binge feeling starts you need to get on here and tell someone - there will always be the support and encouragement you need - Im newish to the thread but find it a great help!!!:p

In terms of gettng a good routine, I dont know - Im not one for measuring the milk I have but know roughly how many coffees I can have with it, could you measure the spread with a teaspoon - so you can see how much you can have?

    Hi all,

Heres my EE menu plan for today

B - didn't have it, got up late and had swimming lessons to go to (kids not me :rotfl: )
L - Homemade Country Veg soup - was lovely - really filling (1/2 syn)
D - Salmon, roasted vegetables in homemade honey dressing, syn free wedges or chips (1 syn)

    HEA - milk for coffee
HEB - ???? dont know yet, usually Alpen Light bars tho
    snacks will be fruit/muller

2 days to go until my first weigh in - really hoping for 3 or 4lb's but think thats a bit optimistic, mainly had and EE week as I find it so much easier and although many others have had a weight loss I'm not quite convinced that it will cos Ive eaten loads - have been a hungry a couple of times but think thats bad planning on my part.

I need ideas for college - I leave the house at 12 and get in at 9, theres no canteen facilities and no microwave etc so cant have something warm - maybe I could try soup in a flask (hmmmm) - would really appreciate some other ideas though??

I had swede and carrot mashed last night (was lovely) and am having it roasted tonight - looking forward to it.

    Any sorry for long post

  • Hello!
    EE day again

Brunch - baked beans, lots of bacon, eggs fried in frylight
Dinner - Gammon & wedges with peas & a Mullerlight

    A) cheese? possibly on the wedges
    b) 2 alpen light bars

Not a particularly balanced diet day I know but I struggle to eat 3 meals at weekends, too busy!
