Thanks for the feedback re joes...I agree it is a bit pricey though.

I will keep him bookmarked anyway, just in case. And I am going to be on maternity leave all summer, so hopefully we get a nice one as I will actually have time to get the garden sorted out, then some parties might be in order.

We have an independent butchers about 15miles away who makes syn free sausages and burgers too - I don't think he's the cheapest, but worth it to get different flavours for a change! Must go over when I next go to Mum & Dads to stock up! :T

    EE day today;

Breakfast; sausages (1syn), bacon, egg and baked beans, tea with milk (HEa)
    Lunch; Lasting Satisfaction Yoghurt
    Snack; Banana, Diet Coke
Dinner; OH cooking free Lamb Rogan Josh with rice
Exercise - walked 7 miles today - must get in training for the marathon! _pale_ :rotfl:

It doesn't sound much (I do 6 in an average day ambling about at work) but we did it at a brisk pace as our start to get fit! Went down to our local garden centre and back - got slightly sore points on my feet now, so I don't think my Fitflops are made for power walking! And it was so cold this morning it really felt quite far! Looking to do at least the same again tomorrow!

On 20th June we have to walk 26miles in 6-7 hours for breast cancer in Edinburgh!

  • I re-joined on Thursday night but today has been my first proper day

Breakfast: 4 x rashers of bacon, 2 x eggs (scrambled) with brown sauce, and 2 slices of wholemeal bread from a small loaf (1 syn)

Lunch: Didn't need any, so had a packet of Ryvita Minis near tea time.

Dinner: Diced turkey, carrots, onions, swede mash, some parsnip (1 syn) and gravy (1 syn).

    Snacks: 2 x Meringue nests (5 syns). // 250mls semi skimmed milk & 1 tsp of Green & Black's cocoa (1 syn)

    9 syns for the day.

I was shocked and horrified at my weight 14st 12lbs - I have never been this fat in my life.

Had another wake up call yesterday when I went for an asthma check with the nurse and she told me my asthma was getting worse. Peak flow has gone down from 400 to 320. I know my asthma has got worse since I piled all of this weight on but rarely get time to exercise but she really wants me to try and lose some weight and exercise more.

So I had a walk down to the betting shop and back (30 minutes - and I have won £10 that I will walk down to and collect tomorrow LOL).

I really try and need to make 2009 the year I banish my compulsive over-eating and stabilise my weight. I long for clothes shopping to become a pleasure again, and to be able to buy clothes that make me look nice, as opposed to clothes that don't make me look as fat.

(PS, this thread is quite fast moving and I can never remember where I have read to, so if anyone wonders why I am 'thanking' random posts, it's just to mark which ones I have read)

I need ideas for college - I leave the house at 12 and get in at 9, theres no canteen facilities and no microwave etc so cant have something warm - maybe I could try soup in a flask (hmmmm) - would really appreciate some other ideas though??

Hmmmm that is awkward if you have no microwave! Do you have access to a kettle? The only thing I can think of are those mugshot things, or the fat free noodles where you just need to pour hot water on them but I couldn't think of anything warm for a red day. You don't work outside do you? Brrrr I couldn't think of anything worse at this time of year.
