    Quick question:

How many Mingles is too many to eat in one go :o:o ?

I'm not sure I can stop now the box is open :p:D

No use asking me, I've scoffed an entire box of chocolate Brazils today and almost finished an entire box of mint matchmakers :o:o:o

Just made some meringues to have with chestnut puree and cream tomorrow so that is pudding sorted. DS2 is snoring, DS1 is being very quiet but has just asked me to check where santa is on Norad which amused me.

Going to leave veg prep etc for the morning so I can escape to the kitchen when it gets too noisey. Nice to be just having the boys this year so not fretting about tidying as well as everything else. Need to hoover before I go to bed and put the DW on but nothing major.

I am guessing from the feel of the parcel my kind and generous sister has given me my favourite jellybeans - would it be very bad to open them and scoff them in peace?

    Mmmmmm Matchmakers...oooo yum!

froddington...eat them all just don't be sick ;)

I'm wondering where my husband and children are! I know I wanted peace and quiet but I want a hand to tidy the dining room :rotfl: Off to get pastry out of the fridge and make the mince pies. Lost my only circle cutter though so have to use a cup which is a pain.
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Sorry I don't know embb but in future you can defrost them quicker by putting them in a sink with COLD water. Each time the water goes REALLY cold you replace it with just cold water. It really works.

DH back from the carol concert in the village. The local bakery bought out a load of donuts, muffins etc for everyone. How lovely is that!! xx

That is really nice of them, it warms the cockles doesn't it :) I used to do that with frozen stuff not sure why I stopped  I blame childbirth it melted my brain.

Frodders - I've never had Mingles but they sound divine so half a box should be fine, more if you dont feel chucky uppy
