Tuesday - Time's nearly up!!!

1. Children... quick.. tidy your rooms
2. Iron yesterdays wash mountain
3. Mop the kitchen floor!
4. Declutter your desk.. loads of rubbish!!
5. Tidy up coats and shoes and suchlike
6. WRAP WRAP WRAP!

1. Prepare food for christmas dinner ..
2. PRESENTS .. 4 more boxes to wrap!
3. Wash pots before bed!
4. Bath time to wear everyone out..
5. set up the video & camera!!! Fully charged and ready to roll!!
6. Quick whizz over the clutter and carpets..

Sorry I don't know embb but in future you can defrost them quicker by putting them in a sink with COLD water. Each time the water goes REALLY cold you replace it with just cold water. It really works.

DH back from the carol concert in the village. The local bakery bought out a load of donuts, muffins etc for everyone. How lovely is that!! xx

Cranberry sauce made. Now need to think about stuffing and starters -Oh and eating some of the ham that's cooking in cider in the oven at the mo...

Ooooh Santa is in the place DiL and her parents come from - merry christmas over there! (Though maybe that's not PC as it's a mainly Muslim country!)

ETA - DiL and her parents are christians - converted when they came here

Have lots! Although I don't know what a Mingle is either :rotfl: I'm raiding the salted peanuts at the moment

They are - to quote the box -

'Five varieties of chocolates, all with a hint of mint'

I have:
- dark chocolate mint crisp
- solid milk and white chocolate with a hint of mint
- dark chocolate with a mint fondant centre
- milk chocolate mint crisp
- milk chocolate with dark mint truffle centre

It is one of the few boxes of chocolates where I actually like all of them!
