One or two bits of wrapping to do. OH found the missing Toblerone in the top of the wardrobe - all three of them, which is a bit of a mystery as I only need two - who is the third one meant for???
I still haven't done the stuffing, so must do that now, which will be the last thing, apart from (ssshhh) the stockings. I usually put these in front of the fireplace, and the presents under the tree very last thing, but the teens now tend to stay up later than me, so I think it may be moved to very early tomorrow morning, when I shall definitely be the only one up!
dusty - you have a pm!! (Just in case you haven't noticed - I usually don't)
Santa is in Madagascar! It's the first year I've looked at the tracking thing, and I'm enthralled (my inner three year old having a lovely time here!)
Okay, stuffing and then washing up...
dusty cross posted with you!It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Froddington - good luck with your task!
soappie - I agree and given that I am not actually hungry am having a cup of tea instead. I think she is the only person who has bought me something this year so a shame to ruin it. Both sets of parents gave me cash, and I bought my own stuff from DH and the children.
I cleaned the old fridge earlier and have now filled it with drinks for tomorrow, turkey is nearly defrosted, overnight in the pantry to be on the safe side I think. Well, don't think i'm having any dinner - still not got my appetite back which is a very good thing. I just wanted to thank everyone this year for keeping me sane through my wrist and this op. You don't know how much you've kept me laughing (not always intentionally!!!) and lifted my spirits numerous times. So, please have a happy, healthy and fun christmas and thankyou all for your support and friendship xx0

Back from DDs and just had a lovely Indian takeaway. DD is worse than any kid wanting to open her presents. Usually Im working all or part of xmas day so have not seen her open her presents for couple of years. I said she had to wait till I get there in the morning. Her friend and I have been winding her up about whats in her bag.
GS1 came and it was lovely to see him. I nearly made him choke on his drink as I knew he was talking about pheasants. But I thought he said f***** pheasants and glared at him but he had said plucking pheasants.
Plans for tomorrow are go to DDs in the morning then see mum. Lunch at DDs ex MILs then back to DDs to chill.
Ive opened a box of heroes so having a few of them.
pigpen Hope you are enjoying your goodies.
Soappie Then as long as it says nothing about prescribed amounts and dangers of overdose on the box - eat as many as you like:D :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
