Argh...is it too early for me to send the children to bed with no tea? I think I have a stress headache as my head is pounding, DD2 is whinging as her teeth hurt, DS is not doing anything he's told and DD1 is being far to contrary!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

    Flying here now :D

another half hour and I have
    • hoovered stairs
    • wiped stairs down as well
    • hoovered floor in middle room
    • hoovered sofas in middle room
    • cleared fire in middle room
    • relaid fire ready for lighting just before OH comes in
    • dusted all surfaces and telly in middle room
    • lit a candle for all those missing departed loved ones (first Christmas without my dear gran) hugs to you all :grouphug:
Now to start on the front room which will take a bit longer as the sofas in there get very doogied (not hairs just dirt :o )

    5.15 - 5.45

Hugs to all those stressing (I got my stress head over and done with at the weekend)

Need to have a think about what we are having for tea tonight as well, maybe if I stick the gammon in now it will be done by 7.

Thinking aloud, I have the front room, main hall, dining room, kitchen and cloakroom to sort, utility room can stay a tip. Hope to get everything done by 8 then I will open a bottle of bubbly.

    Off to do gammon now
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Of course they are gryfon - it's Christmas Eve, and they're sick with excitement! Stick them in front of a DVD (known in this household as valium for kids), and have a cup of tea and some paracetamol.

    Not long to go!

    Hugs.

Going fairly well here, with a lot of delegation, and frequent breaks! Off to make the mince pies now, and the turkey stuffing while they're in the oven.

Thanks Serena...Mr G just about to take them out to look at lights and deliver some Christmas cards. I think I might be coming down with something as my throat hurts, and I have achy pains going down each side of my neck :( Either that or I'm so stressed it is from tension and stress. Think when they're out I might spend 10 minutes lying on the floor trying to relax everything and then get on with the mince pie pastry and dinner.

    Evening all,

What does HHC mean please, and does S&S mean swish and shine :o

    1. [STRIKE] Prepare veg for christmas dinner .. store covered in cold water overnight, it will be fine! [/STRIKE]
    2. Prepare any other bits.. stuffing, salad etc Make starters before bed.. sneaky but a great idea!
    3. PRESENTS .. nuff said! (stockings with a few bits of fruit and a cereal bar make for a healthy breakfast!)
    4. Wash pots before bed!
    5. [STRIKE]S&S the kitchen[/STRIKE]
    6. S&S the bathroom
    7. Quick whizz over the clutter and carpets..
Swept and mopped in the hall and a quick dust in the living room and hall

I have a sneaky feeling our turkey is defrosted now :D:o it says 48 hours on the packet but thats not until tomorrow morning, seems abit quick given that its in the kitchen which is outside of the house, heating only on in the evening etc.
