I don't have children yet but plan to make the most of being off tomorrow as I haven't EVER had Christmas Eve off work!
I plan to wake up tomorrow and do the cleaning, get that out of the way. Then I will bung some veggies and stock in the SC to make a yummy soup and pop to the bakers to pick up my order of a nice crusty loaf and yule log. I'm then going to go for a walk round the town with DP and soak up the atmosphere, maybe get a few last minute bargains and have a yummy hot chocolate in a cafe. Then it will be up to Carols around the tree in the market place with DP and meet mum and Dad there then back home for the soup and bread, a warm bath, new PJ's on and snuggle down with DP, a nice bottle of rose, a chocolate orange and Love Actually DVD. I am sooooooooooooo excited! lol
Everybody's Christmas Eve's sound so lovely and personal, can't wait til I have children to share it with.

We're going to Ikea in the morning (yes, very festive I know but its to buy a desk for the kids new PC
) then we're going to Gullivers World who are doing a big fireworks display. We're then coming home and having a nice meal together, getting in our jammies on the sofa under blankets and watching Polar Express then putting the gammon in to soak before going up to get up in the morning. :j

The day time is much like any other day really, I have to go to the vets (my dog got attacked by the neighbours dogs so he's very poorly) and I have the community warden coming round about the dog fight and the damaged fence. So not much like Christmas for us.
We will be going out and doing our traditional present delivering this evening then it's home and bed to wait for Father Christmas!0 -
I'm off work today, collected turkey fromthe butchers at 8am and a few bits in town. Back at home to finish cleaning and then this afternoon making giblet stock, salmon terrine for tomorrow's starter. Just about to start making a trifle and then onto veg prep and stuffing making.
Then cooking 2 duck breast and a bottle of wine to chill out with as all prep is done for tomorrow!!
