Isn't 3 yrs old too young to sit through a movie at the cinema? I have enough problems getting my 12 yr old to sit still that long.
As a postie, I'm working xmas eve, but when i get home it will be a hot bath, pjs on and a family night in front of telly and some board games with the kids and OH. Unfortunately Santa doesn't come to our house now as kids are of that age, so we'll stay up late and do a pressie an hour up to midnight, starting with the smaller ones, up to the big ones at midnight4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Our local cinema is doing a special xmas showing of Polar Express on xmas eve for free, so we have tickets to go and see that.
Then in the evening will be having a takeaway for dinner as we always do every year0 -

I'm getting the kids making signs for where santa can leave their presents, also making some paper chains to decorate their rooms and then will get them making some chocolate treats. Hopefully they'll be tired after a day of making things and will sit through an xmas movie then I'll give them a bath and get them in bed early.May Wins: Annual Merlin Premium Pass, Annabel Karmel Bowl and Masher

we are going to the pub!! We are bad bad bad parents , lol.
No every afternoon before xmas we meet up with our friends and their little ones at our local pub, it is very child friendly with a play park, we normally buy some bar snacks and have a glass of baileys. The morning is spent tidying and cleaning and the afternoon at the pub. we leave just as the sun sets .The kids love it as they get to see their friends and the adults love it as we get a couple of hours to unwind without anyones house getting messed up.
Then we go home, open our xmas eve presents (new pjs and bubble bath) the kids have a bath put on their new pjs and get everything ready for santa coming. It's BOUGHT not bRought0 -
My dd is getting older now, she is 5 but acts more like she is 35 lol. Not sure what to do with her this year.
Last year we just chilled out a bit, got the stuff ready for Santa that sort of thing. Then when it got closer to bed time I rang some bells and told her hat Santa is near and that she needs to get to bed quick.
Will have to have a think and see what I can come up with. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0 -
I'm working and when I've finished work I'm driving for about 3.5 hours to get to family and hoping there's some dinner ready when we get there!! It's worth it though...I think. If I had children there's no way I'd be working but as I don't I'll go in so those with kids can take the day off.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member #398 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

Me and my daughter will get our pj's on watch a few christmas movies and bed early for santa!0

Afternoon/evening walk to look at Christmas decorations on peoples houses to tire the boys out. Home to open one pressy (new pj's) watch Polar express. Put reindeer food out and mince pie & milk for Santa...then bed.
I will then prep all the veg so I don't have to do it the following day after that I can relax and sit down with hubby and an Irish Coffee0
