  • I'm off to have some 5ex now, you might benefit from a bit yourself. Nighty night.

I'm sure pickles110564 is pretty regular with the old self service :rotfl:
  • there will be no time for any breaks or chats around your table.
Ah at least the boys have got something to look forward to then.

This is becoming the most parochial thread on MSE. What's next - discuss the front door colour of number 23 Hamilton Road?

I do actually have one more question for Mr. P. You obviously have a thing about the PORT rather than the Docks - but I don't get why it's so important to you? Is Port grander than Docks, is Docks the wrong name. I understand that a Port is where Ships come in to dock, but then Docks are where Goods are unloaded?

Oh mewbie, you know what I am going to have to do tomorrow don't you? Yep, look to see what colour that door is! :rotfl:

Edit - That is Argos, so it's all glass!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Thanks! I can sleep easy tonight now I know, had hoped it was a red door - no idea why. Perhaps we can do 58 tomorrow? My moneys on green this time.

No seriously don't bother - this is a route to autistic madness.

Well with having autistic children, I am quite used to autistic madness!

No 58 is Iceland by the way...

Thanks Sue. I am not sure whether to apologise so I will to be on the safe side. I didn't mean to imply any problems with autism by my comment, nor did I realise your children were autistic. Simply I realise some of my characteristics in real life border on autism, like many many other people I believe. So absolutely no offence intended to anyone who suffers, or is blessed by this attribute.

I am absolutely going to stick with Morecambe and Wise material from now on. Maybe.
  • Can't believe I missed all the fun, my old mate Pickles getting hammered from all directions. Bummer.
You can't win an argument with a stupid person.

I'm dyslexic ie I can't be @rsed to check for typos

Hehe, don't worry about it...I am usually the first person to joke about all their weird and wonderful ways, in fact I started to write a book about it a few years ago, a humourous look at autism - the sort of things that make you cringe at the time but give you hysterics from laughter when you look back.

  • You are right PORT does sound more grander than docks and yes you are right again docks are where goods are unloaded.

Is the Port the overall thing, and docks are smaller? Like the Port of London, and then St Katherine's Dock, Butler's Wharf, etc?
