I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoyed :mad::mad:
Ive just spent 45 mins cancelling 4 cards, here are my experiences
"Thanks for calling blah blah blah bank, to make a balance transfer press1, for your balance press 2, for stationary including pins, cheque books and statements press 3" Hmmmmmmmmmm I dont want any of those, I wont press anything.
"Sorry we didnt reognise your choice, to make a balance transfer press1, for your balance press 2, for stationary including pins, cheque books and statements press 3" Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr no still dont want any of those, will press nothing again.
"Please wait" - OK, maybe I am getting somewhere at last.
"Please enter your card number", I dont have a card number, Ive lost it, I will just not press anything
"Sorry we did not recognise that number, the card number can be found across the middle of your card, please enter your card number" - Nope I still dont have a card number, I will still not press anything
"Sorry, we did not recognise that number. Please hold whilst we transfer you to an advisor" - Hallelujaha!
"We are experiencing high call volumes, please call back or if it is urgent please hold for the next advisor" Well yes it is quite urgent really
"Due to unexpected high call volumes the current wait time is 10 minutes" Grrrrrrrrrrrrr
" Hello you are through to flim flam, can I take your card number please" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I DONT HAVE MY FLAMING CARD NUMBER THATS THE POINT I AM TRYING TO CANCEL IT AS IVE LOST IT!
Tescos was completely different.
" Welcome to Tesco, to report your card lost or stolen please press 1"
"Hello your through to flip flop in lost and stolen how can I help" Ive lost my card
"No problem I will go through some security with you..........................there thats all done for you"
