Welcome home Fay - Hope you had a FAB holiday? _party_
Disni - Welcome to my world, its a bit crazy but Thanks for saying I spurred you on. Stick around we are all very friendly x x And yes you are right, enjoy the forum and stay away from not nice threads. :coffee:
Rags - Dont be silly of course it wasnt you!! Your great x x :iloveyou:
Well work was Ok, sounds horrid but I didnt miss Pip as much as I feared. I knew he was safe and it wasnt long until I saw him again. He had fun with Nanny and Nannys doggy! He has started really chattering now and he sounds just like he says hello and Dada. Anyway, work was Ok and I am lucky that a lot of my colleagues are also my good friends so it felt less stressful but ALOT has changed and I will need to be on the ball to catch up. I am allowed 10 Keeping in touch days and this was my first so I am going to have a couple more before I go back properly. Good for me, good for Pip, good for my Mum and good for my bank balance.
My Bathroom looks Gorgeous, I love it. Although we did have drama as OH banged a nail through a water pipe and we discovered it at 16.10 so after all the shops were shut!! OH took the day off today and fixed it but when he put floorboards back UH OH! He hit another pipe DOH!! Anyways alls well now, might post a photo as I am so pleased with what we managed to achieve with not much money.

Forgot to say, hope everything ok, ur going great guns, and well done re sales, same feeling with ebay..... its very weird..... sounds daft but in Feb, I sold dds swimming costumes she'd grown out of, they went flying out, yet just ended listings and had 6 swimsuits - only 1 went, you can never predict the outcome.
xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Welcome back Pipsmum, we have missed you!
Take no notice of nasty people, there are far more nice people on here.
Work sounds good, glad you did not much little one too much. I went back after all 3 of mine and the thought is much worse than what it actually is when you are back. I felt guilty as I did not miss them but when you are busy its much easier just to get on with it.
Weekend spa was lovely thanks and DS1 is doing well with his apprenticeship, he is certainly enjoying the money and I am enjoying not giving him any!!
Please post some piccies of your bathroom. We want to do ours but not spend too much money on it as we will be selling the house in the not too distant future.
Just making butternut squash soup and tomato soup to last the week for lunches.
Have a nice evening all. x0 -
Hi Pip's Mum
Sorry to hear about nasty peopleI know that when we're growing up, our parents tell us just to ignore them and not let it get to you, but it's easier than it sound sometimes. Just surround yourself with lots of us lovely people, and we'll kick any backsides that need to be kicked on your behalf :A
Just the mention of the words DIY are enough to send me into a rash... But glad to hear that, despite the drama, it's all over
