Oh poor, poor little Pip
not enjoying getting a tooth at all!! Even a cuddle isnt working, think at this rate may be going to keep Bonjela and Calpol in business for a few years at least!
Cant get Photobucket to work at the moment so will post Bathroom pics later.
Its my payday and I got my bonus money too. Ive moved the bonus into the savings account for no pay in August and I have paid all the payments I needed too, managed a little extra on the Tesco CC due to a refund from a company that had been debting my CC for the last 6 months in error! So now my ticker looks like this..............
Friends came round last night for tea. We started a "lunch club" there is 3 couples and we take it in turn to cook dinner every 3 months. I made Chinese, I got spring rolls (£1 a pack) and Chow Mein (£1 a pack) on offer in Mr Ms, Oriental Ribs were reduced in Sainsburys (£1.99), Egg Fried rice (2 packs for £1) and Sharwoods Thai Cracker 29p a pack in Home Bargains and 2 sauce jars and a pack of chicken breasts for £4.
So I fed 6 well for around a tenner.:T
Ive agreed to do a 3 more Keeping in touch days before I actually properly return to work, so that will be some more pennies in the coffers.

Ooooooooooooh Photobucket is working now so heres my bathroom, come on in Ive ran the bath just how you like it
The blind was £19, the big rug £15, the pedestal £1.50 and bath mat £3 were reduced in Mr Ts, The bathroom sign was 39p in home bargains, the cushion cover was £2, towels £5 and floor tiles we got 3 packs reduced to £1 as they had no packaging and then the other 3 packs were £4 each. The chair, cabinet and baskets we had anyway.
I glossed the wooden bath panel with cheapy black £4.79 and put silver tile transfers (£2 for 6 transfers which I got 3 rows out of) around the top of the tiles to cover up blue fishies.
I made this and a couple of others by using a sample piece of wallpaper I borrowed from Homebase and a black cheap frame from Wilkos. Its really pretty, you cant see but the grey is actually shiny silver.
So there we go. Of course I did have extra expense of pipes from OH being a clot but at least he could fix it so we didnt need a plumber.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

Mumtoone butternut squash recipe below.
1 large butternut squash
2 onions
3 cloves garlic
4 tbsp olive oil
black pepper and sea salt
2 chicken stock cubes or garlic and herb
1 cup milk
2 cups cold water
Chop up the butternut squash into 1cm cubes. Put the oil, garlic and onion into a large saucepan and saute until the onion is transparent (not brown). Add the chipped butternut and fry without liquid on low heat until it really is quite cooked. This is the secret to this recipe, the pot roasted flavour, so don't skip this part. When the butternut is soft and the bottom of your pan looks brown (not burnt) add the salt and pepper to taste and the stock cubes. Then add the cold water and simmer over low heat for 25 minutes. Whizz in blender when cooled a little and add milk. Warm to serve, nice with crusty bread.
ENJOY
Pipsmum, bathroom is fab, well done you, cannot believe what you have achieved on such a budget, you have really inspired me to do ours. Hope Pip's teething is getting better, not nice. Meal sounded fab too for under a tenner. Well done on ticker, fab when you are on maternity leave.
DS1 was supposed to have his first driving lesson tonight, he was really nervous and did a runner just before the instructor arrived. I was so embarrased when she came and I had to explain to her. He said he has changed his mind and does not want to do it, we have paid for 5 lessons now!!! Want to kill him.0 -

Thanks all for nice comments on bathroom, whilst been poorly, see below, been watching housey programmes and now want to do the living room and kitchen!
Guess whos had swine flu?
Yep me, bet your all glad we only chat via our little boxes now arent you!
Came on really suddenly on Wednesday night 4pm I was fine, OH rang at 5.30 to say he was coming home and I was glad as I felt a bit poorly by the time he got in at 6 I was throwing up and shaking and feeling hideous. OH looked on swine flu symptom checker and it said ring a doctor so we rang the out of hours doc and they said I had got it. Gave us a voucher for Tamiflu from a drop off point (made it seem very illegal!) I went to bed, spent all day there yesterday and all morning today and have just felt well enough to venture downstairs. Its horrible, feel so weak and lethargic. I think I have only had it really mildly so it would be dreadful to have it full whack.
Now....how am I going to fit this curly tail in my knickers?Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
