Ive gone back over the reward notices from Tax Office and noticed now they have OHs new salary as £5,457 but its actually £25,457!!! I know there is no way on earth I would have told them £20,000 less so maybe they mistyped or misheard??? I guess they are going to say I should have checked it, which in truth of course I should have. So I am going to have to pay it all back aren't I :-(

Thats a bit odd surely they should have double checked it with you at the time, guessing yes your have to pay it back, but I would ask for a longer period of time, def worth a try, - have a budget reay to explain why you can't drop that much, anything is worth a try xx

    Hellooooooooooooo All

    Happy Saturday!

So I have decided onwards and upward, no point moping about the tax thing. It totally SUCKS but nothing I can do to change it so need to get my head round surviving on £160 a month:eek: at least until September when OHs £200 car repayment stops making life very much easier!! First thing I will need to do though is cut my EGG loan repayment as thats currently £118 a month!

Car was making an awful rattle so of course I feared the worst. OH took it to the garage, same garage we always use, and he found it was just a couple of loose bolts, no charge just pop him in 2 cans of beer when we passed next!:T

We go on our Sun Holiday on Monday (timing of tax thing is exceptional right?) luckily I had saved £300 in cash around the house, Nan has donated £50 for us to treat ourselves and Mum gave the kiddos £10 each. I used Tesco clubcard vouchers to get 1 free adult entry into Portsmouth Docks, booked advance online for the other adult and saved £4 and Pip and Pea will both be free :D Other trip we planned was Peppa Pig world, booked advance tickets and saved £10, still bl**dy expensive though!! The other days will just be mooching around free places like the beach, swimming on the park and such. Going to find the Asda thats apparently nearby and stock up on picnic items and also breakfasts, will also get 2 evening meals and then have the rest out in a pub somewhere. So I think we can still have a nice holiday without too much money :p

So thats my plans, how about you lot?

Who do you think will win BGT? I LOVE the shadow act but it narks me a bit they are not British, surely thats the point of Britains got Talent??? BUT I do love them so actually wouldn't be that cross if they won!! Also LOVE Jack the young lad comedian, so funny!

    TTFN x x

    Hello Hello Hello!

Pippi - I dont watch the Voice but Karl who is on there is from Northampton and is Friends with a few of my Friends

We are back from Holidays and had an OK time despite the fact it poured with rain on all but 1 day :(, such a shame as it meant we didnt get to the beach hardly at all and made walking round some places a lot less enjoyable than they should have been.

We went to Portsmouth Historic Dockyards and had a great day, Pip loved that you could go on some of the old Warships (HMS Victory and HMS Warrior) I thought he would be bored stiff with the Mary Rose exhibition but he liked that too and LOVED the skeleton of the ships dog that they found!! I used clubcard vouchers for 1 free entry and saved £4 by booking the other online, under 5s free. The tickets are valid for unlimited entry for a year so you can go again and again if you wanted which I thought was pretty good. :money: I really love it there, brings back memories as we used to go a lot when I was young. I took a photo of Pip sitting at one of the benches on HMS Warrior and I know there are a range of photos through the ages of me in the same pose so will get Dad to dig them out and compare!

On our 1 sunny day we went to Peppa Pig World which Pip and Pea both loved, it was quite busy but we managed to go on all the rides. It was very expensive, £65 and that was saving 10% by booking online , but we were there all day and also could have gone into the main Paultons Park theme park too.

We found a nice Country park and used a voucher to get Pip in for free, were there all day and cost us £14 so not too bad.

Other times we went swimming for Free in the caravan park and Pip also went into their indoor play area so he had a blast.

Food wise - when we first got there we found an big Asda and I spent £59 but that did 5 Full English breakfasts, 5 picninc lunches and also 3 evening meals for all 3 of us so I think it wasn't too bad. We added up what we would have spent at lunchtime and it would have been about £15 - £20 each day so that saved us at least £75 :money:We did have 3 evening meals out, 2 were £25 and one was £40 so again if we had done that each night we would have spent an extra £75 again at least so pleased with our food spends.

NOT pleased that our cars engine management light came on, I swear we have not had a single holiday where that hasn't happened! EVERY holiday without fail!! So its into the garage again on Monday, fingers crossed as I doubt we will escape like we did last time!

Arrived home to the Tax Credit offices recalculation and we now owe them £5000 not £6000 which means my monthly payment will be £140 so a bit better and gives me a bit more to play around with, still so annoyed that it got quite so bugg**ed up depsite me telling them of every single change.:mad:

Went and did my Mr Ms shop when we got home and it came to £50 exactly! That included £10 baby milk and also a £5 Fairy washing powder that was on offer (only 1 we can use as all our skin is super duper sensitive) so again not too bad I didn't think.

Anyhooooo this is a MASSIVE post, sorry!!! :D

TTFN and Happy Fathers Day for tomorrow to any Daddy readers!!

Save your clubcard points then you can get in for free Rags, it was £27 to get in otherwise but to be fair there was a lot to see and as I say its valid for a year. We used to go down and back in a day but then we are a lot closer than you are!! They just opened a brand new Mary Rose Building and you can see it a lot better than through the spray like when I was young!!

Mum2one - I suppose we did do quite a bit still despite the rain!
