Just had a statement arrive from the Egg loan and I actually owe less than I thought :j So my debt currently stands at:

    Santander £573 (0%)
    Tesco £527
    Egg Loan £1490

    Total remaining debt = £2590 :D

So since my LBM I have paid off nearly £15,000 :T
Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700
    :TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T

2020 the year of less - Less debt, less waste, less spending, less stuff, less stress!

Mum2one - Pip loves the snow! I on the other hand am a bit fed up with it and we are due more at the weekend.

    Smarties - Thanks x x

Still all covered in snow here, due more at weekend and tonights supposed to be -8!! Hot water bottle and socks tonight I think! Glad I ordered the flannelette sheets and pillowcases when they were really cheap in Isme, they have kept us lovely and snug.:D

Had our new carpets fitted yesterday, stairs and landing and also Pip/Peas room. Both desperately needed doing, both were in here when we moved in and stairs were not fitted so it moved as you walked over it!! Got the lot for £330 including fitting, gripper rod and underlay so I think we did ok, also paid real money for it not credit so well pleased.
Shiping Pip off to Wicked witch mother in laws at the weekend so we can crack on and paint their room. Going with a nice lemony colour so its unisex as they are sharing room until we can either move (hysterical laughter at the very idea of being able to afford to move!!:D) or extend and move the bathroom downstairs to create a 3rd bedroom.

Did my Aldi shop today and it came to £31, need to go to Mr Ms tomorrow for baby milk and a couple of other bits but hoping to be under £50 for the week.

Booked a Sun holiday the other day and the email came today to upgrade and get extra nights, rang them and have had a 5th night as well as a premier caravan with more space, veranndah and central heating. We have paid £270 and on their website for the same week a 4 night one is £280 so definately saved a bit. We are going to Hayling Island so we should be able to take Pip to see the "pirate ships" at portsmouth and also Peppa Pig world (secretly I think I am more excited by this than Pip will be!!) so have started saving now.

Still planning Peas naming ceremony. having it at the registry office this time and then an Afternoon Tea at a nearby nice Tearoom. I think I am going to do the flowers myself to save a bit of money. Won't be as grand as Peas was but wont be on credit either! Hoping I can make it just as special.

Anyhoo, how are you all? Staying warm?

Glad everything going ok, bar the weather.Thats a fab price for the carpets and every all in you got an absolute bargain there.Youve got a brill saving on the hol, - I got a Sun one booked for down Devon, had to pay £6.25 per ngt for the service charge, they offered me club passes, - in theory you need them for bingo (wont play as they do link up, I know its bigger prizes, but when its just your place you have a better chance of winning and pool), but as we got fri-mon wouldnt get chanve to go for a swim, be gd as get to blow the cobwebs off the car down the M5... xx
