How was your '3 of us weekend'? Hope the weather wasn't too bad where you are, it did seem a bit brighter over the weekend. Would even go as far as to say it got a bit warm here on the Saturday

Hope you're feeling ok. Make the most of the relative peace and quiet while you can :)

    Hellooooooooooooooooooo!

    Sorry I havent posted x x

Well Baby Pea was a ........................drumroll......................Baby Girl!

We have called her Zoe and she arrived at 12.10 lunchtime on the 9th Oct weighing 6lbs 15oz. Had a bit of an ordeal in the theatre as it took FOUR spinal blocks to make me numb enough for the CSection so my back is like a pinchushion! The same happened with Pip and it was my biggest fear for this time, sobbed and sobbed when it started happening again especially as last time they had told me I was basically on the max dose they could give before having to give me a general anaesthetic  but all staff were lovely and made me feel happier and then they managed to get it to work properly.

Off to flick through the Next book as I can now buy pretty pink things, I fear my balance may not remain at Zero for much longer!!:D

Thanks for thinking of us x x

    Congratulations again sweetie!
Love the name choice, especially with Pip, as with Pip and Pea your family goes from A to Z :) Just sounds nice and poetic :)

Hope Pip is welcoming to his new little sister.
Be careful with the Next catalogue - just keep in mind how little time things will fit for, and how much cheaper you can get Like New things for on Ebay! Are you in a local buying and selling group on Facebook? I see so many lovely clothes that people are selling for bootfair prices, but without having to traipse round a field in the cold, but still get a lovely outfit for 50p-£1 ;) Most babies hardly wear the nicest things much, so easy to find things in fab condition.

Is Mr Pip getting any paternity leave? I don't know what the rules are or how it works given that he's only recently started the job.

Enjoy every minute, if you think time flew past with Pip being so little, from my experience, after your second, it's just like Blink and you miss it. This last year has just Gone, and I feel guilty sometimes that I haven't stopped to take the time (or Make the time may be more accurate) to appreciate how quickly my little baby is getting bigger and learning so much. It's easy to get swept along with routine and normality when it's not your first baby I think. I found we tried so hard to keep things normal for DS1 that we forgot what a big deal it is for us to suddenly have 2 children.

    Congratulations to you all x

    Thanks all x x

    Hello Homemadehappiness :-)

We are all doing really well and I am on the mend from the C Section. Mr Pips had 9th - 15th off, went back for a few days and is now off for this week too. He hadnt been there long enough to get paid Paternity so it will all be unpaid but thankfully enough left in the Redundancy kitty to cover it and its been well worth it to have him here.

Pip loves her lots and keeps saying "thank you for my Sister" today he said "thank you for buying me her", I quickly explained that we had kind of grown her for him instead!

I wasnt too naughty with the Next directory, just ordered a couple of Christmas bits for them both that I could NOT resist and also a couple of bits that she really did need as she is too dinky for all the clothes we had from Pip. We have been very lucky and people have been very kind so she has some lovely little outfits to wear when she grows a bit.

Off for a rest now as I think Ive done a bit much today as we went into Town to register her.

TTFN and I will pop back soon x x x

Edit - Just realised Ive been on the Forums for 4 years this month, time flys and Ive learned so much :-)
