Thank you very much everyone. I've run out of time to make a casserole tonight but love the sausage and onion baguette one - I may well pinch it!
Thanks again!0 -
Have you got a slow cooker that you could use overnight?0

Speaking as a bloke (just checking, yep definitely a bloke), I wouldn't try anything too fancy, as most of us prefer shepherds pie, sausages etc. Mind you, if you cooked me Potato Jane I would marry you.
Don't forget the pudding, very important pudding is.0 -
Whatever the edible offering is, it'll be you he'll be focussing on.
Just serve it all up looking wholesome, pretty & very happy to be with him.

As a man, I totally agree.
Make it look easy so he thinks 'owww she can cook'. Men are simple beings, his mind will be on other things.0 -

Evening all,
I've been seeing a new chap and I'm thinking it may be time to have a night in rather than going out and spending money.
Can anyone share a nice easy dinner that will taste fabulous without hours of prep and won't need too much baby sitting? Or point me towards an appropriate thread?
Just so that we're clear this is NOT a seduction dinner menu that I'm after ... well not yet anyway
Thanks!
