I am sure the OR will be more thorough but at least the deed is done and I will be able to explain what I have written on the form :O)
good luck on monday SA and will be thinking of you - you will be fine ;o)
Thanks clanbailey....
On my "up and down days" ratings - today is an up day! :T
I am not as nervous as I was, and yesterday I saw my councellor (psycholgist) - it was the first he knew about the BR and was impressed with my sorting of it all, and feels it is a real step forward for me.
He also told me not to worry saying that the people who should worry are the ones with "fingers in a lot of pies" and things to hide!
I am neither of those so just trying to chill at the moment.
Guess where I am - WORK!!!
But I have got most of the day off tomorrow - I will finalise the forms and submit them and then it is Good To Go!!
Thanks for the support everyone....

Can you add me to the list please! Court date set for the 23rd Jan. Will have some fairly lengthy posts i would imagine as this is 2nd time round for me, so at the moment really worried about OR interview and what he will make of the amount of debt racked up so soon after last BR ended. So i hope my future posts will help anyone in same boat. Watch this space.
Good luck to all going BR in Jan and indeed anytime in the future, heres to a fresh start for all0 -
Good morning wannabe and welcome to the club. I am sure Don79 will do the official stuff after the weekend and her BR day pt2 on Monday!
I am dreading the OR interview as well. I am not very good at being questioned!
Apparently, I mustn't waffle ....... OMG!
Good luck for your day - not long now.

ah SA your counsellor is right that is exactly what our accountant said to us (cos we ran 2 businesses) and he said that our case was pretty transparent and straight forward - which so far has definatley been. I am not looking forward to OR interview either but I have written notes next to all my expenses (just on my sheet) so I know how to answer the OR incase my mind goes blank, I am good at not waffling but OH is not so he is under strict orders and I have even given him a sheet of things to say and not deviate from it or his meeting could be 2 days long LOL trouble is he tends to forget the important stuff to say and go on about the non important!
good luck too to wannabedebtfree - I am sure all will be ok but I can imagine you have rehersed that question over and over again - thinking of ya :O)BR 9th Jan 2009 - Discharged 9th Jan 2010

10th January - Update
Well friends and fellow Jan Clanners....
36 hours to go .... just got to finalise my forms tomorrow morning and then they can be submitted.
I am so organised that I am beginning to worry myself now!
I have even sorted out the bank and c/c statements into a file with coloured subject dividers all marked up. It is like being back at school.
My counsellor tells me because I have been hiding from things for so long (and also running around like a headless chicken) that now I am dealing with it I have swung too much the other way and turned into a Control Freak ....
Hopefully, after the dust has settled I will become a little less obsessional and will relax a bit.
Well would you believe it -after 2 months of being told that we had an overtime ban coming in on Jan 1st the company have pushed it back to Feb/Mar. I don't think they expected the repurcussions from having made some people redundant before Xmas. A couple of people have left, thinking jump before being pushed - and I don't think I have ever seen so many people "off sick" as there has been in the last two weeks. So of course, we are now short staffed and they want people to work overtime!
Not for me, it is like having the "Sword of Damacles" hanging over your head/job - I would much rather file for BR and live on my basic salary plus a little overtime and not have to worry from week to week whether I could earn enough to pay the bills.
I have changed all my household bills to d/d now - it will make it much easier to budget. I will buy road tax stamps each month as well and that will stop me using the money for anything else.
I am quite excited about the prospect of being able to manage my money again rather than paying just about every penny I earned to service my debts. Sometimes there wouldn't even be enough to live on - desperate times that I never want to go through again.
So that is it really - I am working tomorrow from 5.30pm for a few hours but until then I can just veg out and catch up on the telly that I've missed.
Have a good weekend everyone (what's left of it)

Morning all
Yes its after 1am and I'm still up, I had a VERY nervous day yesterday and now today, I get to a point and I'm so sure I have it but then it falls apart so much I start thinking is BR even the answer still and I thought I was WELL past that.
Anywho a big :j :j :j :j CONGRATS to ALL the fresh starts last week the worst is over, all the Jan Club newbie’s welcome:beer: and to DON79 who will probably be the 1st in history to having 2 BR in the space of 5 days - you rock, and hang in there it's just dotting the i's and crossing the t's.
Good Luck to Startagain, Patsypat911, emby and anyone else making a freshstart on Monday. We’ll all be thinking of you all.
So my deep black hole (which I will, or the bottle of red will drag me out of by morning promise) started on Friday when I came home to a decline from Co-op, oh yes they’re not my creditor but I did something to them that they don’t like me, I’m suspecting I have used my new address which isn’t on the electoral register but I get so much bad news these days I am slumming in self-pity and depression thus liking the head in the sand look. Also I have a whole load of brand new questions which are floating around in my head or the main board, I am feeling nervous and insecure that there are other things I am over looking and will make the worst decision in my life that I can’t come back from.
Sorry for all the pessimism and doom and gloom but between me and the bottle of red its little house on the prairie compared to this morning. Ok going to stop now in case I start writing the words to (swing low sweet chariot) sorry for blabbing b ut thank you for letting me.
Night all
