hiya YM thanks inching ever closer to getting the whole saga over with - I do wish the OR meeting was same day as BR as then you are hyped up for it but hey ho patience patience patience :O)

oohhh we will defo be here to carry on supporting you all - I cant imagine how you must feel having to wait all this while after making the telephone call - but you always seem in good spirits so keep it up :O)

Thank you for the friendly welcome notes you posted yesterday morning. That was very kind of you.

And a message to all who are waiting for their interview with the Official Receiver --

1. Don't be scared. You've done the hardest part which is submitting the petiton and getting the Judge to declare you BR. The interview is just a follow-up.

2. Explain honestly why you got into debts.

3. Unless you gambled it away or were involved in dubious financial transactions, the OR will understand (well, he has little option).

4. No lifetime stories, just the essentials. Remember that the OR is talking to people all the time and only wants to hear basic facts.

5. It'll be over sooner than you think. All that's left to do is to sign and return 4 short forms you will get in the post a few days after the interview.

my debt letters are actually making me smile just got two letters through from dca telling me that they "will take court action to seek a judgement against you" - no ifs buts or maybes in this letter - but they can't touch me which is a big relief!
