Hi Clanbailey
just keep putting up any questions on the forum and you will get loads of help I am sure. do not panic! it will be fine, just take it a little bit at a time and you will get there. At your court, the clerk might be able to help sort out any little mistakes. At my court, welfare rights will be there to check over the forms for me and help out with any mistakes, does your court have anyone who can help like that? I think you can correct any little mistakes, it will be fine.
Look forward to reading your post on Friday that it has all gone smoothly for you, best wishes for Friday.
Hi Haleygrey, think you are the first person I have seen who is going BR in february, I know YM is in march tho!BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

I am wondering whether I will be 001 of my court or not as when I go to court, it will only be the second day of the new year since it started that they have heard BR petitions, the first day being friday the 2nd jan and I don't think anyone will have gone BR on the 2nd. Will find out I guess!BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -
Good Morning everyone,
Firstly, Good Luck to anyone with their day today ......
I am feeling a bit better today, I had a rotten day yesterday.. it is so true when people say it is like being on a rollercoaster. Sunday was an "up" and by golly, yesterday was a "down" ...... pre-BR collywobbles. I suffer from having to be clear in my head about everything (to the point of being obsessional) and I thought I had got all the BR procedures understood - but I hadn't ..... Income tax repayments - averaged out ......
 Leading up to BR - loadsamoney...... life after BR ....... no money!
I am probably worrying unneccessarily but my brain isn't listening!
Oh well,
I have managed to get the day off today - it is very quiet at work and I am only working this evening from 5.30 onwards. This will give me time to do a bit more on my BR forms. People have been asking me if I am OK at work because I am so quiet. I feel a bit weepy when anyone shows concern so a day at home is probably for the best at the moment.
My credit report arrived from Experian yesterday and there is nothing bad or unexpected on there at all. All payments up to date and they even had my address from 8 years ago when I sold the house to pay everything off following my divorce - this is good news because it means that the demand that I received from Ruthbridge before Xmas is definitely Statute Barred, if it is my debt at all. I have heard nothing from them despite 3 recorded delivery letters and there have been no calls for 14 days. I am going to leave it off my forms, I dont want to make them look worse than I have to!
I can't get over how much less I am spending now that it is "real" money in my purse and not plastic. I am finding it hard to part with any! Perhaps I will turn into a miser after I am bankrupt!
Before I read the notes on the OR interview and post BR rules I had already cut up all my cards - into about 25 pieces each in some sort of funeral ceremony - then I read that they want them sent to them cut in two...... whoops! At least I can't use them - not that there is any credit left anyway!:D
So that's it really, a lot of waffle......
Have a good day everyone and wrap up warm........
Best wishes to you all

Hi Guys
I think I've done it right to join the club I just subscribed, is that right?
Well I am happy to join the Jan 09 club, the forum as a whole has been an immense help to me in the past weeks I want to join in on the support and cheer that will get us all through the big B.
I think I will be one of the members holding up the rare in the club as I intend go BR on the 29th Jan. I have saved my fee £510 for the RCJ in London . It was good practices as I couldn't hit the sales and I prioritised my spending of Christmas.
I have started the process of setting up my Co-op account and filled all the forms online (Bar the statement at the end I just don't know where to start putting the last 15 years of having a bad relationship with money, a bad relationship with my ex and struggling to put it all right into 500 words) and I have almost finished tweaking my SOA.
Anyway I'm sure we'll have a good time getting each other through it as you are already and thank you all for the support this thread has already provided me as a cruiser.

Hello and welcome to the club creditpunch!
Don79 would normally be the welcome committee but she is at work today and tomorrow is her big BR day so has other things on her mind, I expect!
I know just what you mean about writing it all out - I haven't really started - I have got a feeling that when I start writing it just wont stop..... I will probably either bore the OR to tears or send them to sleep..... here's hoping!
This board and especially this thread is a marvellous way of getting advice and voicing your worries (as you can see from my posts) - ask as much as you need to - there are always answers before you know it....
Good luck for the coming weeks...

Thank you SA
That was very kind of you and good luck to Don79. My state will either be War and Peace (also hoping to case the OR to fall asleep) or "I 'F'ed up", I am just trying to think of something in between.
I'm glad you are feeling positive today. I am trying to keep everything in perspective as it's only money, right?

hiya this form is doing my nut in ;O)
right another question : the SOA form part of the br form seems to be small ie not a lot on there - can you print off the one we do on that other website and attached OR do you HAVE to use the sheet in the forms?
thanks
seems like a stupid question but that is how my brain is working at the moment! LOLBR 9th Jan 2009 - Discharged 9th Jan 2010
