Hi SA, how are you? At work again!
If you feel happier paying the scary provident woman to avoid hassle, then do it, it will mean less stress and if the OR asks you why you paid her, just say that she is very forceful and intimidating which is the truth! I hate debt collector bullies!!
Re the car, it is kinda an essential repair - a door handle - you have to be able to get into the car!
You can renew your passport and pay the fees for it at the post office but they will charge you for the service. but it is a way around sending it through the post!
Not too long now is it til BR day?

Hi SA, how are you? At work again!
Yep, the Xmas and New Year rota were done ages ago - I have cut the hours down quite a lot, but I still have to work most days......

Crikey, am I not supposed to be paying anything now then...... could this lead to questions from the OR? If so then I wont pay her - another £15 in the fighting fund!
Re the car, it is kinda an essential repair - a door handle - you have to be able to get into the car!
Yep, but it is the passenger side - I nearly lost someone going round a roundabout last week!

Agreed, but you get a good service for the £6.85 - they send it by Special Delivery and it goes to the front of the queue. Not that I am going anywhere....... but I might meet a millionaire who wants to whisk me away!
Not too long now is it til BR day?
Hurrah
Hi Dorothy!! :hello: :hello: :hello: this is my fav little smiley just now!
I must admit I have wondered if all this doom and gloom at work is just bulls**t and that it will be unworkable to have no overtime and "make" people work Sundays. I expect the number of sickness days will rise dramatically. In making some people redundant we are right down to the minimum for staffing - any sickness and we are up against it!
But, I am not prepared to work 70 - 80 hours a week anymore, neither am I going to let them keep threatening us with it. I am calling their bluff and reducing my hours to a maximum of 42 per week. After 3 years of being the one to always step in and help out I feel like I am getting pretty shabby treatment now.
The new strong SA ......... :T

Good for you SA. As for the new improved & stronger SA why don't you start with that Provident doorstep collector and not pay her this week or next. Go on - you can do it! Just think what £15 extra pounds can mean to you. How much is that new door handle?

Sounds like you have definitely been "all work and no play"
Hope that your millionaire is along to whisk you away soon! Why don't you enter the lotto and become a millionaire, then you can whisk away the person of your choice?
definitely sounds like the car needs an urgent repair to me - unless you have anyone you want to lose out of the car at a roundabout (The Boss  ...)
Keep strong hun! :TBSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0 -

Steady FYP - I said stronger, not titanium coated! :rotfl:
Not sure about the door handle - I will ask. I wouldn't normally go to the main dealer but they will give me an estimate and if the OR says it is OK it will come out of the surplus anyway......

I am afraid "whisking away the person of my choice" is partly to blame for why I am in this mess at the moment........
Plan B......... :rotfl:
