Yay we have found a new car. I took it for a test drive, since OH can't drive yet and was really nice. Is a Ford Focus. Insurance isn't up too much which is good as it is more powerful than my old car. We have put a deposit on and we can pick it up next weekend. My Dad is lending us the money but shouldn't take too long to pay him off, will add a couple of months to my debt though.0

That's fab news that you have found a new car already :jI bet you're excited. What colour is it? I'm sure it won't take long to pay off your debt to your dad and that's really good that your insurance hasn't increased too much either. A productive day for you then!Money paid out from Topcashback so far= £105.89 :j

Cool news about the car!0

It is a silver one. Should only add an extra 3 months to my debt the rate I am paying now. OH should be able to pay his half off pretty quick as he gets paid more than me. Has gven him an incentive to do some more driving lessons as well and pass his test!0

We are home now from Southampton and OH is watching the football. The train wasn't too bad but def looking forward to having a car.
When I got home I had a cheque for 25 from a survey company which I had given up hope of recieving so that is going straight towards the old/new car. Am going to update my signature with the new car debt when have sorted out all the money etc. I think it is going to take us till about the begining of August to pay it off so not bad at all. That is not including extra things that I make money from so could pay it off quicker.0 -
Not much news today. Work was busy but went quick. They missed me while I was gone so at least I know they appreciate me!
We got our Ocado shop tonight , need to cancel the free trial of Ocado delivery that I have had. We got a free bottle of wine with the order so that was nice.
My budgeting isn't doing too badly for the month so far. Glad it is a short one as last month seemed so long!0 -
January has definitely been a long month. Glad to hear your budgeting is going ok.
Excellent news about the free bottle of wine from Ocado- I appreciate anything free these days!
Did you have your cheese and pickle sandwich today? I had my egg mayo and cress which was nice, but not as good as cheese and pickle!Money paid out from Topcashback so far= £105.89 :j

I did have my cheese and pickle sandwhich Hayley, it was lush, am addicted now haha.
Have had a busy couple of days at work but the week is going quick so that is good.
I rang up today to check on my car and is all ready to get Saturday which is great news. I have already sorted my insurance and it has been MOT'd and taxed so all ready to go.
I did a little bit of spending today. I bought birthday pressies for OH's niece. We got her a little till and a game, she is going to be 3 getting so grown up already! I also got some skin stuff as my skin has been flaring up so trying to do something with the spots so going to try something new and see if it works.
I also just managed to redeem for £25 from a survey site so that will be going straight to my Dad towards the car when I get it.0
