I know this is how they decide if your entitled to a CWP but I think it should be changed, cos you can be sure that here we will have 6 days of freezing weather one day warmer and then cold again, it should be done on a so many nights out of so many basis that would be a lot fairer.

Some Cold Weather Payments have still to be sent out.
DWP have a slight problem with those parents on Income Support/JSA(IB) who receive both Child Tax Credits & DLA for their children. Those cases have been identified & are being paid manually, as staffing permits. If you find yourself in this position & in an area where the Cold Weather Payments have been triggered, please contact your local Benefit Delivery Centre for an update.0 -
Thanks laurieabc - I am in Rhondda Cynon Taff so perhaps I should look out for it too!
Yep it looks like its being paid out staggered as another friend of mine had hers paid into her post office account today - the whole area suffered from cold weather triggering the payment so I would image you will get yours shortly, I received my letter saying about the award 4 days after the payment was made so might be worth you checking your account as it could already be there.0 -
