Hardly anything left, and certainly nothing she would waste even £1 on.
One woman she spoke to was buying stuff just because it was £1, even though she didn't need any of it lol! Some people........0 -

some of that stuff was already reduced to £2
Nothing cosmetic in nature (make up/toiletries/hairbrush sets etc) or alcohol was reduced. If I say something you like....Please hit the thanks button :beer:0 -
contary to what a lot of people were saying, i work for big A and in mytore in Scotland they were NOT allowing staff to puts stuff by for themselves. luckily i wasnt working today so bagged som bargains. although i dont know if this was the case in all stores, rules seemed to be different store to store as there were no restrictions on how many u could buy in my store........although a few of my collegues had complained that they had put stuff by out the back and management had went in and removed it all and put it on the shelves. that brought the lols, scrooogesTrying to be happy by accumulating possessions is like trying to satisfy hunger by taping sandwiches all over your body - Geoege Carlin0

I dont have a problem with staff keeping things for themselves & their families. Some poor assistant at the till serving me said all the staff were so busy working they hadnt had time to see what was on sale. The only way they knew was when they were putting them through the till.
She wanted a reduced butterfly bag for her 2 year daughter but had not got time to get one. Luckily my oh managed to get the last one in the store for her and she put it by.
I think if I was slogging my guts out everday for a store like asda the least thing I would expect is to be able to get a bargain myself now and again.
The original OP on hotukdeals was and asda staff memeber who gave us the heads up.
After all if it wasnt for them putting all the items out on display and reducing the prices we wouldnt be getting any bargains, its christmass for everyone isnt it.0 -

absoultely manic today. several of my colleagues manhandled by customers who were desperate for some of the stuff we were putting out, glad i work down the other end of the store. One of the lads we have working for us on a disability placement was stopped in the middle of the store and stuffed ripped from his cage and hands.
2mo, be surprised if any gift sets are reduced the bulletins all said decorations/trees kind of stuff for 2mo, sure it said not till 26th for the rest of the gifts/seasonal stuff - bit of a mistake in my opinion, so i would expect it to happen before.0 -
thought that today- wasn't aware of the discounts and popped into my local as they have been advertising some games- pub quiz...race night etc.. had all sold out when I got there and these poor women were trying to unload a cage whilst surrounded by people pulling at boxes and throwing stuff around in the end they just pushed the trollet away and walked off down the isle- if people had just taken afew steps away from the trolley all the things were already on the shelf.Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."
