I agree randon.
My husband works but even even before this recession money was tight of course with the extra to pay on utilities now money is even shorter. I don't owe any money and of course my husband has a job so consider in that respect to be very fortunate so I really need little bargains like this (thank you again to the OP). Next is a wonderful shop for example but even in a half price sale I'm sure I couldn't afford to shop there. Some people are obviously more fortunate than others and can afford to but I don't think it's fair to be rude to people just because needs must that they have to shop at Asda and hunt for bargains to save a few pounds, it's what this whole website is about.
Some people may have bought loads, they may be thinking forward to birthdays or christmas next year or their children going to parties and have a gift already available and saving a few pounds that way.
As I said before the customers could have been in their birthday suits doing the birdie song for all I care. As for the staff who could begrudge them a few bargains for themselves too. I really hope the manager in my store didn't make them put theirs back - how mean spirited would that be.
Is it possible now that any more disscussion about Asda/chavs/the colour of children's skins could be put over at the Arms where I'm sure many will argue this and give you a good run for your money and that this post could just be kept for people who can't afford to shop anywhere else and just wanted a few extra gifts and didn't want to come on here to be insulted. Me, I'm thick skinned, say what you like on a computer screen but some are much more sensitive.
To keep it on track, has anyone been able to get any half price beauty gifts today please, I had read on here it may be possible???0 -
I totally agree.
Please lets stick to bargains.MollyJoe0 -
Just been into my local asda, and there was no new sale on that I could see. But the SA told me that they had been called in early this morning, they were expecting a rush of people, but it was quieter today than usual.Look after the pennies, and the pounds will look after themselves!!0

I Have popped into Asda at Bexleyheath this morming around 8.30am and could not see any bargains. There were a lot of Managers huddling on corners but nothing in writing on the shelves.
I did pick up 2 items that were marked 2 for 16 and took them to the checkout with my other shopping but they came up at what they were priced at.0 -

Thanks OP, I went into my small local Asda store at 9am expecting there to be very little but they were just labelling and resstocking the shelves so got £60 worth of gifts for £15. I'm so pleased. The only disappointing thing was that they hadn't reduced the hannah montana or HSM stuff.
I don't think anyone had noticed the offers until I started loading my trolley, then suddenly I was surrounded by people!:D0
