  • I went to the new Asda at Newhaven in Edinburgh this morning around 8.30 am and it was very quiet. The assistant was just doing the reductions and there was a small selection of items - I just picked up a High School Musical jewellery box and Hannah Montana secret diary set for £1 each. She was chatting away to me, pointing out what great bargains there were!

I was the only person there at the time - would imagine the stock didn't last long though!

  • I find Asda attracts a certain type of clientele so it will be interesting to see those who never do a days work leave the house before 12pm and those on long term sick with back ache (try standing love) punching their way to the front of the queue.
