I also added in some 'fruit flavoured chews' and marzipan eggs
 :rotfl: I ALMOST did that but took them back off so I could keep within the weight limit - I just kept adding cereal bars and cheesey pasta to make it up to the weight limit. :rotfl: The marzipan eggs are eggsellent, I bought some in January and they were delicious. They were a bit bigger than I was expecting, too, so a real bargain. I was very strong willed this time and didn't order any chocolate or crisps at all.
OK, here are the photographs: First up, it's the three amigos with Captain Beaky on the right hand side. His legs can't hold him up for very long, yet, but I'm sure they'll strengthen up soon.
Next up, the magnificent seven. It's difficult trying to get them all to stand still and face the camera! :rotfl:
That's it, hatching is over unless Mrs Black's chicks start to appear. I'm off to weigh the above so I have a record of weight gain over the coming weeks. It doesn't take a genius to work out which is going to be heaviest, does it, Captain Beaky? :rotfl:
EDITED IN: Umm... when I said hatching is over until Mrs Black's eggs started to hatch, err... this is the first chick to hatch from one of Mrs Black's eggs!I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Nyk-Your chicks are gorgeous and look full of personality. Feel really spoilt after that lovely lamb the other day too.
Thanks for your well wishes.
Picked up my bouquet-very pretty and rural looking, reminded OH of Larkrise (as in Larkrise to Candleford..he better not get any funny ideas tonight). With button holes (for OH and BM) and a corsage for mum all came to £20.
Should have everything now...and if we don't does it really matter?
Don't know how viewing went but had a feeling about this one..sometimes my feelings are right.
My friend and I went to Strada for a girl's lunch-£7.85 each for a main course and glass of wine and of course a chance to relax.
OH and I might go out again tonight, might use one of the 2 for 1 Ask vouchers...It's better for me if I'm preoccupied...calms the nerves.
We'll include it in the wedding budget.
Think of us at 1pm tomorrow.. x. On Saturday we are off to Cornwall for a week.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry this evening. I just got a text from my friend to let me know Ofsted are in inspecting my school next Tuesday and Wednesday. My first day back is Monday after just over a year off.
I suppose on the bright side, i don't think they will plonk me in front of a class and expect me to teach them after a year off in front of an inspector.
Downside, staff absence might be an issue so all hands on deck. Even if i am not expected to teach, people will have less time to talk me through things.
What a start back. As if i am not nervous enough about going back.
I suppose the most positive thing is it could be worse and be the week after the Easter hols when i am actually teaching classes i haven't met before.0 -
Michelle-Just think you'll be fresh and enthusiastic. The RI will probably be aware you have only just returned. And you'll get it out of the way rather than have it looming on the horizion throughout the Easter Hols.
You think about the positives.

Hiya,
I'm getting a chance to relax and put my post on. DH (aka toilet roll monster) is back. So, I had to make my own dinner tonight we had chilli. I made it in the slow today and have 5 portions to freeze. It was nice, but chilli is usually better on the 2nd day once the spices have gotten to work.
I'm not sure about what to make tomorrow, I make a nice rice dish and I could put some prawns and scallops that I have in the freezer into it.
I got some shopping in yesterday with the stamps I had saved up, so that was a great help to me. I've still got £12 in LV's and my £2 asda card, so I might go there and get some chickens, they are doing 3 for a tenner which is good. I've plenty of mince, stew and chicken breasts etc in the freezer, but these whold chickens would be handy.
I've got a nice bit of whoopsied cod in there, it was £1.74 down from a fiver. It is huge, so will feed both of us.
I done an experiement with the butcher. I bought a full lorne of square sliced sausage from him before christmas and it was £8.00. I then went in a few weeks ago and bought 4 loose sausage and it came to £2. I thought this was a bit steep because of what I had paid for the whole one. So, I bought another one yesterday which was £9. I got 29 single sausages off of it so this was approx 31p per sausage wheras the single one cost me 50p each.
I calculated that I was saving 5.80 buying the whole one. Isn't that amazing, the same thing but 5.80 less. It shows that bulk buying can pay dividends.
Speak soon. xx0 -

Thanks Sophiesmum
The plan was for us to spend tonight at our house and set off to Cornwall tomorrow morning but OH surprised me last night by telling me we were off to a hotel tonight! Bless him. He has even managed to get us a free upgrade and box of chocs! And it includes breakfast. YES!
Off to hairdressers in 15 mins then back for a brunch with OH (smoked salmon and scrambled eggs-my favourite). Pack. Dress for wedding. Get married (think of us at 1pm to 1.30pm-I walk in to the sound of 'Come fly with me'-apt as we met in Cambodia) and we walk out to Proclaimers' I would walk 500 miles). Then 16 of us off to lovely restaurant for lunch-no speeches but my 13 year old niece would like to say something (bless). We have gone mad and ordered champagne. Afterwards we are off to our hotel.
So I'll speak to you all in about 9 days time. May be able to get on the internet at some point but if not Good luck and take care.
