Council Tax bill arrived this morning - so I've now adjusted my annual budget accordingly.
£22.86 transferred from 'Council Tax' to 'Anything Else' :TCheryl0 -
Afternoon everyone.
I'm feeling a bit down today, not sure why. I've woken up this morning with a blocked nose so I guess thats not helping. I've been into town and have bought some A-Z tablets from Boots, to see if that'll help. I keep feeling under the weather, and to be honest its getting a bit annoying.
Met a friend for lunch and a chat which was nice. I had a lovely Greek salad without the dressing, and a cup of lovely green tea. I think I'm getting addicted to the stuff, though I guess that's not such a bad thing :rotfl: it has no calories and is meant to aid digestion, so it could be worse!
Sending big (((HUGS))) to those who want/need one.
sf xx

((((Hugs)))) right back at you sf! I hope you feel better soon. Maybe time to retire to a comfy chair with a blanket and have some warm freshy squeezed lemon juice and honey and take it easy?
I seem to be sniffling (well it sounds better than snottering:rotfl: ) my way through a box of tissues in 3 seconds flat at the mo! At least I've stopped sneezing every 30 secs... but I am starting to resemble Rudolph with his red nose :rotfl:

Good evening!
Hugs to all and a warm welcome to the newly arrived frugalmites (human and avian) :j.
I have to start being a bit more proactive after my spending is way over again . Apart from cutting down the spending I decided to finally flog a few things like my old SLR camera, bass guitar and some books which should raise quite a few quid. Hopefully it won't take too long to sell these. Most stuff I'll probably try to sell on Am@z0n and some bigger items might go to the second hand shop to save posting them.
This weekend I might pop into town and spend some vouchers on new clothes that I need. Also might invest in a paper shredder soon as I got a T3sc0 direct voucher and we have bags of paper for shredding under the desk.
My seedlings are growing nicely and I tried my hand at sprouting, can't wait to try them.
Next week a friend will come and stay with us for a week which will be great, just hope I don't blow next months budget in the first week by entertaining them.

Hi everyone,
I've been quite busy the past couple of days, so have been neglecting my posts. Bad SL!! Not spent that much, got taken out tonight by my sister for dinner, it was nice. All the nicer because we hardly go out these days so it was a special treat. I have been a bit naughty though, but will be back on the wagon tomorrow. I spent 2.50 on a chippie lunch yesterday and I had a subway today as I didn't realise that I would be out for so long. It was £2.99 for just a roll. I didn't want a meal as I had a drink in the car. I won't be doing that again in a hurry, not worth it at all!!
I've joined the payment a day thread, so I think my 2.99 would have been better spent there!!
DH home in 2 days, the fireworks will begin shortly:rolleyes: .
Speak later. xx0 -

Nyk, they are so cute!
Hope everyone who has been ill feels better soon - I've been off work for two days but am now back at work and feeling much better. Two days of tea, chocolate and cross stitchingjust a shame that I wasn't feeling well enough to really enjoy it.
We've got our garden all planned out, so have decided where to put the vegetable seeds. Now we just have to get on with removing most of the lawn so we can get them planted...
Edit: just looked at my sig - must decide who to open an ISA with!Live on £11k in 20110 -
