A quick hello from Outer Mongolia :rotfl:
We tracked Santa online last night and made sure we were in bed before Rudolph's nose appeared on the horizon.
He kindly brought me some of the most amazing pyjamas you have ever seen
He must have been listening to my complaints about the cold all year.
They are lime green, covered in multi-coloured giant hearts and are made of long fleecy fabric so I look like a gigantic frog crossed with a woolly mammoth :rotfl:
But, I don't think I will need to heat my house at all when I get home as I will be so cosy :j
I made mince pies and trifle yesterday. My sister bought a huge chocolate cake which cost about £5 and will feed 20 generously.
And, to the old timers on this thread who have been following the most ridiculous things that happen in my life..
While I have been away for 4 days,at home
My old cat has died
My uncle has died suddenly
A gigantic 200 yr old tree has been blown down next to my garden.Luckily, it fell into the field. Just missed DH's brand new shed and it would have demolished part of the house if it had fallen the other way
Good thing...lots of logs if I can sweet talk the estate manager
Do you think someone has got it in for me this year0 -

Oh Janey :grouphug:sounds like the sort of year I've had, just as it seems to get better, something else happens to turn everything upside down again.
Condolences for your uncle and your cat. Thankfully the tree didn't hit anything and I do hope you can have the logs.
2009 isn't that far away and I do hope it turns out to be a great year for you.
