Afternoon everyone...
I've been shopping and bought a few tops, some knickers and some lovely bra and pants sets. I haven't finished yet so I haven't added it to my total. I'm hoping this will see me through until the summer, oh, I also bought a swimming costume..mine was becoming see through!
I popped over to the old style weight loss thread but it seems to be a glorified Slimming World thread! I've got to do something about my eating but I'm struggling...perhaps I need to give myself 3 weeks ?!
There are a couple of you who post what they are eating on here so perhaps I need to do that?
So, I'm weighing myself tomorrow morning and I'm going to get stuck in....
I've got my food shopping coming tonight. I've barely needed to but meat the last 2 weeks, the freezer is quite full and I've tried to eat more veggie food when its just the children and me.
My copy of Delia's Frugal Food has arrived as well, so I need to dig out a notebook and write up a meal plan for the week...
Do you guys plan breakfast anf lunches too or is your Meal Plan just evening meals?0 -
Congratulations Pipsmum!0

Hi all!
I went into boots (for the 75% sale) this morning and bought some gift sets for pressies etc and a random stranger gave me a boots gift card with £3.54 on it for no reason. She was in such a rush and I was a bit shell shocked (so was a bit suspisious) but a boots staff member checked the card and it was fine!! :j Wow... what a lovely person! :T I need think of something to do to "pay it forwards" and make another person smile!!
I bought my perfume too... It came with a free bag which appears to be selling on ebay for ~£15 - £25  so I need to get over my ebay phobia (and get my camera back from my parents  ) as I'll never use the bag.
Maybe I should give the money I (hopefully) make to a charity as a pay it forward type thing? What do you think?

Reading Nyk's post saying that a lot people quit this challenge last January, I'm here to say "I'm still here!" I've bought a couple of birthday presents in the sales but other than that, I've resisted temptation.
I've just done some internet banking and I can see that this challenge is working for me already. My purse (with cash only in it) groans when it's opened and snaps shut if I just THINK about buying something stupid. If it talked, it would yell "No-oooooooooooooooo!!" The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

Evening everyone!
Spent about £5 today on little bits and pieces, though its still surprising how fast it mounts up! I bought a birthday card, a stamp and a few others, and its a fiver gone already! Was at work for 5 1/2 hours as well, so the pennies are being earnt too - although it really is just pennies at the moment, I do wish work was busier.
Just thought I'd ask on here - does anyone know how to make banoffee muffins? I'd love to try them but can't find a recipe!
