I liked the pennies on that programme too, Im doing sealed pot challenge as I know alot of you are, I have set up a roadkill pot out of interest to see how much I could find over the year.
The bike looked way too new to be in the tip and I dont know about you guys but I know for a fact our council charge you for items you take out of the skips. Its kind that guy letting him sleep in his house for nothing, he mst be very trusting or knew he was doing some filming?

Nyk I have no weeds as Ive tried it all!! My house is spotless, garden too. Tried star jumps, curries, and all the other things and STILL NOTHING!!!!

Our council won't let you take things out of skips at all...... that's a perk of the job for the chaps who supervise at the tip !!!

Poor Pips Mum, I remember doing all that too - was even induced and 2 days later STILL hadn't gone into labour so ended up being too posh too push! Reckon DD would still be there if she could.....

Hope bambino comes soon for you, are they talking about inducing yet?

Brighton Belle - if I bring the home made icecream, do you have a spare dish of crumble? My favourite pud :)

Thanks to whoever it was (sorry was a few pages back) about musicmagpie, looks a great site, I'm decluttering all the dross I don't want to watch/listen to any more. New year, new start and all that.
  • You are gonna be jealous-guess what DH has just given me-a freebie from work.........................................................................................................................a brand new big diary! Another one! now-I dont need it but I told him I do! Any ideas what to write in it as I already have a free one from work for everyday stuff and a spending diary. Now Ive got the new one! What shall I put it now??? Ideas welcome.

...I've put my electric blanket on ( gosh, how decadent does that sound!) and I'll soon be off to bed...

Decandence nothing, I've been switching mine on most nights since October :rotfl: It's the 21st Century, I still might not live in a house with central heating but I ain't gonna freeze. :D It's a small luxury we deserve for living such frugal lifestyles.

Catch up with you all tomorrow :)

oh, in regards to stationary, notebooks and crossing out...my notebooks are usually long, glorified lists, written for the express purpose of crossing them off....!

Ah...lists are ok to cross off....as long as I do it neatly! And my lists always have at least one thing that I've already completed on it! Lists look so much less daunting once something is crossed off! How sad is that?! It's general crossing out that irritates me....I arranged to go out for a meal with some friends before Christmas and they cancelled 4 times before we actually managed it. In the end I told them I was writing it in in pencil and only put it in pen once we'd actually had the meal!!!!!

Surely it's got to come out soon? Don't they only let you go 2 weeks over?!

oooh...quick question for anyone that knows....when you first apply for child benefit do they back date it to when the child was born or is it done by when you apply for it? If it's the second option then I shall be doing my application from the post natal ward when the time comes!!!!

thank you, im never too sure on these things, sadly asda and tesco do not do the adjustable waist sizes just elasticated so had to get ds1' from mothercare (which are £8 a pair) i searched for weeks to find some, all 3 of my boys are skinny and little, if trousers dont have the button ealastic waists they nearly always full down

Hi, I am on this challenge, but rarely post. My DS is a skinny little thing - the only skinny fit school trousers I find fit are from next, at appx £6.00 per pair - and they have the adjustable waist - we started at age 3. Most of the school trousers I find are generously cut, and on my boy look like clowns trousers. Do your school not have a nearly new section, ours does and its brilliant. And most of the mums I know all hand in their trousers, tops etc to benefit the next kids - worth a try.

    Good evening,

I've just caught up with all today's posts. The shop wasn't too bad today and I had a jewellery party this afternoon, I think the next one is nearer the end of the month, but I'll check that out later.

DH is away overnight as he had to go and see his boss down south today, he will be back tomorrow night, I am glad of the peace. It is difficult getting used to him being here as he is a nuisance at times, very selfish. I asked him to remember and turn the heating off when he left the house this morning, I got in at 9.30 tonight and the heating has been on all day.

He probably done that on purpose to annoy me, that is what he can be like at times. He does have some good points (honestly):D , all I seem to do is moan about him:rotfl: :rotfl: . Anyway, he will be away back on Saturday until the end of April:T :T :T . It is okay when he lives here and is working, then he has his own interests and is not under my feet all the time.

I was with the other man in my life tonight, hence the reason why I was in so late. He is very handsome, black shiny hair, brown eyes, and has 4 teeth. Despite this, he has a gorgeous smile. My nephew, just over a year old. :A He is nearly walking now and is dying to talk as well. I would much rather be with him than his moody old uncle who leaves the heating on!!! Nothing done today because of arrival of the nephew. xx
